This listing is for the second floor. This is a 2 family home. This home has a lot of natural light overlooking the mountains, this home would be a perfect get away for a family gathering or a get together with good friends for skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, 4 wheeling, kayaking or just about anything you can think of. Year round fun in the mountains for summer,spring, fall, and winter activities!
This 2nd floor rental has 3 nice size bedrooms 1 with master bath. There is an additional bathroom, over size living room, nice dining room. Each bedroom and living room have TV's. Trails right off the property. Black mountain ski area 10 mins and Sunday River 30 mins away.

What a great home-like experience! Spacious bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, games and toys to amuse all ages. Sunday River Ski resort is 25 minutes away; nearby Hannaford grocery store and restaurants make eating in or eating out accessible.

Host was on top of it. He kept us tuned in as we got near our date and texted us on the day of to let us know the property would be available a bit early, which was very nice of them. We had a great relaxing stay. Easy access to town and ski areas. Thanks!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! We had a great time. The host was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. He even came out after 10 to plow for us when we got a late snowstorm.

Great ski getaway

Visit with Family

We have been visiting this area to visit family for the last several years. This was our first stay. The property/unit were beautiful and spacious. The unit was stocked and even contained my favorite bagel seasoning. The property is close to town and the ski resorts. Would highly recommend. This now our preferred place to stay in the Rumford area.

Great welcoming home with plenty of space to spread out!

The house was easy to get to and just a short 30 min drive from Sunday River. It was clean, spacious and so cozy thanks to the pellet stove that Steven so kindly left running for us so the house was toasty upon our arrival! Thanks for having us Steven, we will definitely be back.

Snowmobile Trip

Really beautiful home. Very spacious which was great for ourarge group. The owner was super helpful & friendly and gave us all the details we needed to get right on the trails and enjoy our days. Plenty of room for trailer parking which was also great. This is a great area (and great rental location) to enjoy some nice trails which are a short ride out from end of the driveway.

Comfy home away from home

Hosts are wonderful people. Very kind, understanding and effective communication. The house is as shown in the photos, very comfortable. I felt right at home. I have a rear wheel drive so I had some difficulty going up and down that hill in winter but the hosts tried their best to keep the driveway clear of snow and ice and if you have a front wheel/ all wheel drive then you’ll be fine. Overall my stay was good, and I truly enjoyed my stay. I’d definitely return for another stay

Maine Maple Sunday

Stayed 3 nights with friends to visit friends and take in the Maine Maple Sunday experience. Plenty of room. Used the televisions, most all appliances including washer and dryer. Had a huge amount of snow for one full day. Owner had driveway and area cleared before we left and again when we traveled back. Had no problem he around the 24” with the help of VRBO owner. Definitely a place to stay if needed to be in area. Close to the Walmart in the rural area if needed also.

Hubby’s 50th

All my husband wanted to do on his 50th birthday was to get away up north and snowboard and snowmobile. Well, this location is a great respite to return to after a full day on the trails. The ITS 82 is right out of the driveway around the corner. The people we met on the trails were so helpful and a hoot!! We also skied/snowboarded at Black Mountain. Small mountain with great terrain and the friendliest people. The place was clean and roomy. It has everything you need to feel comfortable and relaxed. The beds we’re comfortable and with -3 temps, the pellet stove was so inviting after a day on the trails. Full kitchen with everything you need. We rented the second floor and it worked out perfectly. We brought a full trailer with two snowmobiles- plenty of space for parking a big SUV and trailer. TV in every room and en-suite master bath. Highly recommend staying here. Steve was a great communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. Will return.

Great House and Great Owners

This was a perfect house for a Sunday River Ski trip. 30 minutes from the resort, shops and restaurants nearby, and easy to find. The owners were communicating with us throughout making sure we got in OK and everything was as expected. The house is beautiful and very well maintained inside and out. Definitely on our list to rent again!!

Great House

Steve was a great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs/requests. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. The house was very clean and well stocked. Great stay- very accommodating.

The house is beautiful and was left with nice touches such as a few snacks and notes to guide your stay. Every room was extremely clean and we felt like it was homey! Highly recommend staying here, it is close to major ski areas and the host was more than accommodating. Thank you!
