The Space:

Enjoy our stunning lake-front home, private sandy beach, 80 foot dock and swim raft on pristine Spofford Lake. To get to your private beach, you need only open the door, walk across a narrow, quiet dead-end street and you’re there — 30 feet from house to sand. 



Paddle-boat, 5 kayaks and life jackets are provided.



Bring your own boat, tie up to a private dock, and keep your boat trailer on-site.



There’s parking for 5 cars on the driveway (which is unique because on-street parking is not allowed).



Enjoy the bald eagles and watching and listening to the loons.



The beach is private and sandy. The spring fed lake water is shallow and gradually deepens as it approaches the swim raft. There’s a fire-pit on the beach stocked with wood.



Characterized by stunning lakefront views, and a 50 foot beach, this home qualifies as one of the premiere vacation rentals on Spofford Lake and is situated on a quiet, dead end, country road.



The home itself is impeccably furnished and outfitted to a degree that is far more comfortable than a typical lake side camp.



The house was totally renovated in 2019 designed as an open-concept kitchen/ dining/ living room with sliding glass doors opening to a spacious deck (30’ x 10’), while overlooking Spofford Lake a few steps away.



The master bedroom has a private bath, spacious closet, and a wall of large windows facing the lakefront.



In terms of location, Spofford Lake is a 2 hour drive from Boston, and less than 4 hour drive from New York City.



Spofford is half-way between Keene, NH and Brattleboro, VT where there are many local restaurants, stores, brew pubs, hiking and biking trails, ski resorts, wineries, co-ops, and attractions for everyone within a few minute drive. 



Then again, there’s little need to leave the property for anything, so you can escape the hustle and bustle of city life to enjoy a wonderful Spofford Lake vacation.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the private beach, dock, raft, kayaks, paddleboat, parking, and entire house

We recommend a rental car



Other Things to Note:

* This listing requires a Saturday through Saturday booking schedule. Our cleaners are only able to clean on weekends and as a result we can only accommodate Sat-Sat stays.

A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 will apply for reservations cancelled prior to the cancellation policy window. This fee covers our credit card processing fees on a refunded deposit payment.
