Coral Cottage in Beaufort Historical District

The Coral is our newly renovated compact studio that has a queen size bed, no kitchen but a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, TV & dvd player, wifi, 2 cruiser bikes and helmets, 2 boogie boards, cooler, 2 beach towels, 2 beach chairs, umbrella, all linens and towels, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, and outdoor sitting and grilling area. Enjoy walking or riding Coral Cottage’s cruiser bikes all over town! Hi Speed internet for remote working. NO SMOKING! NO PETS.



This cottage is located in the historic district, just 2 blocks from the waterfront. You can park you car and walk everywhere in historic Beaufort. We also include Cruzer bikes for you to get around and see the sights. You'll be 1 block from a quaint brewery, and wine/coffee bar, shops and 2 blocks to watch beautiful sunsets.

We ended up staying at the Lighthouse Cabin. We had all the immenities we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was ideal for walking we packed and walked for the 3 day's we were their. The only thing I will point out is that if you have any knee problems like me just know the toilet sits extremely low and there are no rails to help get up and down. Honestly that was the only thing I could point out that I was disappointed with. I would recommend and I would stay there again. Thank you to our hosts.

Great location. Everything was clean and ready. Having access to the bikes was excellent, they were in great shape and included bike locks making it convenient to explore town.

We enjoyed our short stay at Coral Cottage. It was very clean and welcoming. It is only a short walk to the water, restaurants and shops.

The room was clean and decorated nicely. It was convenient to the Main Street stores, restaurants and waterfront attractions. My husband and I personally think that it is more suitable for one person. It is rather small and there is only one chair to relax in. As an older couple, it is uncomfortable to sit very long on a bed. There's nothing wrong with the place. It just wasn't suitable for us.

Small but cute

Place was just as described. Very cute but small. We stayed for two nights so it was what we were after. Walkable to downtown and waterfront (there is no beach nearby).

Dive weekend getaway

Coral cottage was the perfect location within walking distance to downtown Beaufort. The property was clean and had a hose which allowed us to rinse off dive gear to let dry outside. Would stay here again for sure!

Anniversary trip

Perfect cozy little spot to celebrate our anniversary. Check in was easy, property was very clean and as described. Location was great! We were able to walk to the waterfront, the farmers market and lots of restaurants.

Pros - Location is great, place was as advertised and clean. Cons - A/C unit and Dehumidifier are pretty load. Little delay gaining access due to previous tenant or cleaning crew not leaving keys in lock box. Owner got back to us quickly and all good. Only real negative was the unit had a partial roll of TP left for our stay. We called about it and did not get a response. Because we didn't hear back we might have "borrowed" some TP from the brewery down the street which turned out to be a good thing.

Tucked Away Gem

Loved this visit! Perfect little cottage for a quick weekend away in Beaufort. Easy walking to all the highlights of downtown and to get in and out by vehicle. Wish we’d had time to take the bikes out and sit outside on the patio a while (next time!). 100% would rent again.
