Old dated furniture. This property had (3) split units. After multiple tries by both of us we finally got 2 of 3 working. Next up the stove had a gas leak requiring NM Gas to disconnect. The bath photos don’t show the tub being spray painted white and peeling. The shower head only produced a spray pattern the approximate size of a quarter. The host fails to mention the front door opens facing base housing. You will hear revelilie and taps. On the positive side the host responded quickly to both concerns.This property was very clean. I believe that the host did not accurately portray his property.

Hi Rick, Thank you for your review. We have updated the sofa, coffee table, mattress and bed. The property was booked for 2 guests but during the unauthorized event held by you, it seemed like the gas line to the stove got disconnected. The shower top has a setting, if you turn it or if you phoebe asked me it will open up “more than a quarter” I am certain that people are taking showers for years in that property and this is the first time we hav had issue with someone opening it up to quarter.

We were only stopping through for the night on a road trip but the house had everything we needed. A large and secure yard for the dogs and all that was needed to prepare and enjoy a warm meal. We slept well!!

Another successful stay at the Thaxton house is in the books! Located close to the NM Fairgrounds where the event we attend is held. It’s a very comfortable place for us to stay.

Pleasant and safe stay!

My cocker spaniel and I stayed at this cute property for a sporting event - dog agility. It was very pleasant and very 10 minutes from the event location. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again! Thank you hosts, for a very nice stay!
