Water’s Edge Luxury Cottage

Our cottage is right on the edge of the Sheepscot River in the heart of MidCoast Maine. Enjoy expansive water views, amazing sunsets, beautiful walking trails, and a large dock for launching your kayaks. Located at the Sheepscot Harbour Village, it is a short walk to Wiscasset, Maine’s Prettiest Little Village, where you can find delicious food, bakeries, local boutiques, art galleries and the famous Red’s Eats lobster rolls. Just a short drive away are Boothbay Harbor and Damariscotta as well as a number of other small coastal communities each offering something special. Our comfortable home is a welcome retreat from the world and a place to relax after a day of exploring, hiking, boating or any one of the many activities found in this area.

The home's open living area contains a well-stocked kitchen with everything needed to prepare a meal, a generous dining table for 6 and a sitting area with large TV and a wall of windows overlooking the water. Take in the view from this area or head outside through the French doors to bask in the beautiful unobstructed views of the water and the incredible sunsets each night.

Two of the three bedrooms have king sized beds and one has a queen bed. All have a ceiling fan. The first floor master bedroom has an en-suite with a tub/shower combination. The second floor master bedroom has access to a second-story balcony and is perfect for a morning cup of coffee.

On site parking is available. A washer/dryer and complimentary Wi-Fi are provided.

Upon booking, you will receive timely communications about your trip. Access to your professionally cleaned and sanitized home is also convenient with our custom keyless locks. If you need anything before, during or after your stay, our 24/7 local team is ready to help!

This place was perfect for my brother, sister-in-law, husband and me. The communication with the host was great, check-in was easy, the house was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The scenery was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, looking at the water while drinking coffee in the morning and it was such a great place to come back to after exploring the area all day. The sunsets are great too! Would stay here again and recommend it to others! Thank you!

Beautiful home equipped with everything needed for a restful stay. Beautiful sunsets. Lots of friendly neighbors and dogs. It was in a great area for walking as well as exploring Boothbay Harbor, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Wiscasset, Reid State Park, Damariscotta, etc. Acadia National Park was about 2 hours away, but still doable for some of our party.

Beautiful Home with thoughtful touches

The pictures do not do this house justice! It is even more beautiful when you arrive. The fireplace was an awesome bonus for the chillier nights. The house is well equipped and has everything you could think of or need. From games, to flashlights, make up mirrors and even bug spray, you feel like you are home. We have rented many houses, and this is the first one where we did not have to buy a bunch of items. We will definitely be recommending this house to others!

We stayed at Water's Edge for a family wedding. The home was comfortable and well-appointed -- check-in was seamless and communication with the owners was timely and thorough. A trip to Maine is always a treat and we look forward to returning!

Perfect home, conveniently located on the Maine coast

This is a wonderful home conveniently located on the coast of Maine! We were within 30 minutes of some of the best sights Maine has to offer. We also were blessed with the most perfect fall weather! The home is located on the Sheepscot River and provides a beautiful view. Every amenity was provided and everything was perfect for two couples. We felt completely at home. home away from home

My husband and I had a very relaxing , enjoyable stay at the Water's Edge cottage. It is well appointed, cozy, and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully outfitted with every appliance necessary to make a fabulous meal. The location was perfect for us to visit several quaint towns easily. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves returning to Maine.
