Breathtaking Views of Kachemak Bay

Welcome to Homer! Our accommodations are clean and comfortable, with breathtaking views of Kachemak Bay, mountains, glaciers, and the Homer Spit.
The apartment is on the second floor above our own garage, has a private entrance, one full bathroom and two bedrooms (Queen bed, Full bed w/ twin). Fully equipped kitchen with dining table, living room, washer and dryer, internet and Roku (for streaming channels).

Homer is one of the most beautiful places in the world, with many outdoor activities, exceptional fishing experiences and exciting moose viewing!

Beautiful view of Homer from the couch! Loved watching the fog roll in and out. The kitchen was well equipped. The owner answered promptly. Would book here again.

This place was perfect! The view was exceptional - just like in the photo. We were greeted with a postcard with a personal note & great banana bread from our host.The house was very clean and well supplied. The washer and dryer were a welcome addition. We highly recommend !

We loved this place. The views, as advertised, were spectacular, but even better, the place was beautiful. So clean and well-stocked. I could have made a gourmet meal in the kitchen. The banana bread was delicious and a nice surprise treat. Highly recommend if you're coming to Homer.

Awesome Stay in Homer

This place was exceptional and not only because of the amazing view. The place was well equipped to cook meals and the unit was extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts are awesome and we will most definitely recommend this place to people traveling to Homer. We will most definitely return to this beautiful area and to this unit.

Excellent accommodations for our group of 4. The view can't be beat! Quiet and nice location, close enough to the Spit. Everything we needed was here. Coffee was great and banana bread was a nice welcome. Would highly recommend this for your stay in Homer.

Wonderful views, cozy suite

The two-bedroom above the garage suite was perfect for our family of five. The views of the bay and of the spit were spectacular. The living room was cozy and the TV was great for the adults to relax and watch while the kids snoozed. We didn't use the stove, but it was stocked well enough for lunches and cold breakfasts (or toast). They also kindly left us some welcome muffins. The location was good for being close to town but also far enough to have the great view. There was a viewpoint at the top of the Skyline Dr which was close to the house for a great panorama of the area. There was also a quiet wildlife viewing area nearby.

Amazing experience

I dont usually write reviews, however from start to finish just like the title says this was an amazing experience. Tanya the host was very responsive and able to accommodate us with our changing of plans. The place was extremely clean and the views are incredible. Although I have only stayed at a few vrbo's I cant imagine any better. If you are staying anywhere else in Homer I'm afaid you might be missing out. Thank you for helping us with memories of a family fishing trip that will last forever.

The Best Alaska has to Offer

Enjoyed an amazing stay - Tanya's vacation home was everything & more. Rooms were immaculate, spacious & had all that was needed. Kitchen was greatly stocked, LR & 1 of the 2 BR's had the most spectacular views & getting to see the Moose & her calf's on the property made the experience more exciting. Highly recommending this listing.

Gorgeous Views!

Self check-in to Moose View was very easy and parking is right in front. The views from the living room are truly breathtaking! It’s an incredible panorama of the town of Homer, the Homer Spit, Kachemak Bay and the gorgeous Alaskan Range! The apartment is very comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a washer & dryer in the apartment. From the living room window we saw a moose with her baby right outside. Thanks for the delicious banana bread and for a fabulous stay!!
