Cabin with a Volcano Vista

The cabin is located near the bluff, just before Baycrest Hill as you travel the five minute drive into Homer. The cabin sits on top of a downward sloping lot which provides a stunning view of Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet. Additionally, beyond these bodies of water you can view mountain ranges including four volcanoes: Mt. Douglas, Mt. Saint Augustine, Mt. Iliamna, and Mt. Redoubt. The views from this property are simply amazing and beyond words. The wildlife is also exceptional with moose and Sandhill Cranes visiting the yard while eagles fly by or sit in the trees.

Inside the cabin the living area includes a fully equipped kitchen, corner bench style dining table, a couch, and three comfortable chairs. Further, there are two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and an apartment size washer and dryer. The first bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bunkbed. A full complement of towels and linens are provided for guests’ comfort. There is Wi-Fi and a television with a Firestick for streaming your favorite shows. There are puzzles and board games for additional entertainment.

Outside there is a large front deck with glass enclosed railings to protect you from the elements while eating dinner, having a cocktail, or just enjoying the amazing view. There is a gas BBQ on the porch just outside the front door. The yard has a firepit which is always a favorite on those chilly Alaska evenings. There is a large flat grass area at the back of the cabin which is good for playing volleyball or other yard games. Parking is not an issue with room for multiple vehicles or even a boat or RV trailer.
