Cozy Cottage Studio, Walk to Beach

Enjoy this wonderfully cozy mother-in-law-sweeeet:) in our spacious backyard working (5) blocks from the beach. Private entrance. One queen bed, full bathroom, kitchenette. Armchair folds out to comfy twin. Wifi, Roku, TV ready to go. Enjoy a stroll to nearby restaurants/beach! Pets considered with pet fee.

The cottage is located in the backyard of a larger property. Close to restaurants, the beach, and a park with a playground if traveling with little ones! The yard is a shared space but guests are provided their own entrance and outdoor sitting area.

Guests have access to their own outdoor sitting area in addition to their private cottage on the property.

Guests may message the hosts at anytime through an Airbnb message. There is a privacy fence between this and the larger main property so interactions are minimal to none.

Located in a wonderful neighborhood with anything you need! A clean, quiet beach spot is a 10-15 minute walk away. Restaurants, shopping, great coffee spot, and a park are all in walking distance.

There are restaurants and a great beach spot walking distance away, but if guests prefer to drive there is street parking and lots available. Uber and Lyft are also a available.
ABSOLUTELY no smoking in the cottage, as well as the front and back yard. A $50 fee will be applied to the trip if smoking occurs anywhere on the property. NO PETS unless arrangements were previously discussed. A $50 fee will be applied to the trip if a pet is found to be staying on the property.

It was quite very relaxing. One suggestion to put an outdoor seating area with some lighting would make it much better and more cozy.

This property is the perfect location for access to everything you need food, shopping, and the beaches I have only good things to say, especially the outside backyard area is just so calming and peaceful? the property itself is super private and relaxing. I throughly enjoyed my stay here. There are some things to work on like fixing some of the interior conveniences available. But overall great place for s a single person. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for our stay

We were traveling with our pets and werent going to be spending much time in the room at all. A bit dated and had problems getting the cable to work, but cute and actually appeared to be bigger than the pictures actually showed.

Misleading

My husband and I love JAX Beach and found this place last minute for the 4th of July. It looked cute online and had great reviews, but we were seriously misled.First, we never received check-in instructions and had to reach out ourselves — the host blamed VRBO. Not a great start, but we let it slide since we got in late.When we arrived, we were shocked. This is literally a shed in someone’s backyard, and the condition was unacceptable. The front door had a huge hole in it and wouldn’t close all the way — we didn’t feel secure at all. The window AC unit was surrounded by water damage and barely cooled the space, especially with the broken door letting the air out. There was a large, moldy-looking hole behind the shower, and the only sink available was the tiny kitchen sink — so we had to brush our teeth there. All the linens had a weird smellTo them.This place was not at all what was advertised. It was uncomfortable, felt unsafe, and honestly, should not be listed. It needs some serious TLC. I would never stay here again.

Perfect home away from home!

I’m a 15-year Jacksonville native who just moved out of state and needed a place to stay while back in town. Knowing the area, you can’t beat this location for the price and the ease of communicating and booking this place with the owners. You can easily walk to the beach, shopping, etc. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

Backyard private cottage

Perfect little cottage aka she shed for a single or a couple although the bathroom is small so a larger/taller person may find it uncomfortable. Dog friendly with large closed in yard. The decor/furniture has been updated since pics on site so it feels more modern. The bed is large and very comfortable. AC window unit works great. Portable heater worked as well. I stayed Monday to Friday , Thanksgiving week and it was very quiet despite a large family staying in the main house. The main house has no access to the cottages yard so it still feels private. Just a few blocks away from restaurants, park and beach. Nice quiet neighborhood. I will definitely be back!
