Beautiful waterfront home on a private cove in Lake Keowee w/ hot tub

This pet friendly home sits over an acre and a half of land in a private lakefront setting in the Harbor Point Subdivision at Lake Keowee, SC.

It has 6 bedrooms and 4.5 baths and can comfortably sleep 14. This two level home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on the main level and 3 bedrooms/2.5 baths on the lower level along with a unique built in bunk bed great for kids. There are two full size fully stocked kitchens and can comfortably accommodate two families or one large group. Each level has their own washer and dryer.

There is fantastic outdoor living space with decks on both levels and a hot tub on the lower. A private dock overlooking a beautiful quiet deep cove is perfect for swimming and fishing. Explore the beautiful, emerald-green water with a tandem and single kayak and a paddle board that are available for your use. Bring your boat or rent a boat from one of the many marinas on Lake Keowee to explore the lake, fish or to simply enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

The Blue Ridge Mountains serves as the backdrop and Lake Keowee is the centerpiece of this beautiful setting. There are 18,500 acres of water and more than 300 miles of shoreline. Lake Keowee provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature and make family memories. If you enjoy water sports you can enjoy sailing, boating, water-skiing, canoeing, whitewater rafting and fishing. The area is surrounded by thousands of acres of protected land with six state parks nearby and located with access to two of the most pristine lakes in the Southeast- Lake Keowee and Lake Jocassee.

8 miles to grocery shopping, 14 miles to Seneca and 17 miles to Clemson

p.s. - regarding the boat dock, owner's boat occupies the center and there is the capacity to hold two additional boats on both sides of the dock - see pictures

Beautiful house with most amenities we have ever had at a VRBO. Neighborhood is very nice and private with beautiful views of lake and mountains. We wish we had more time- there was so much more to do we never got the chance to get to. Hopefully we can make it back here in the summer!

We used this property for a parents weekend to visit our college students. We had 5 sets of parents, which left two rooms for our college kids. This property fit our needs perfectly. It was clean and spacious. We made dinners and lunches at the house and it was so nice having two well-stocked kitchens. The owner was responsive and accommodating. We will definitely use this property again.

Enjoyed having a master suite on each floor. Very well-appointed kitchens, plenty of towels, very quiet, and Lake Keowee was so refreshing and clean. Spent plenty of time on main floor deck.

Family Vacation/Reunion

Check in was a breeze. Johnny was very responsive and communicated very quickly. The kitchen was very well stocked. House nice and roomy. Had 8 people stay and 4 more visit at times including 2 toddlers (lots of toys for them to play with and books to read), no matter how many people were in one area, we never felt crowded. Spent a lot of time at the dock, kayking and swimming. We also brought 2 Seadoos and had plenty of room to dock them and not be crowded. Great time had by all. Would definitely recommend for a big family gathering or several couples. We will come back again when we have a big group.

This was our first time on lake keowee. The lake is beautiful, water is very clean, there is a really cool waterfall you can boat right up to on the lake, a big jumping rock to have fun on and the lake is huge! The house was really nice. Tons of bedrooms and sleeping spaces. A kitchen upstairs and another downstairs. All the beds slept good. The couches were really comfortable. The dock was large and a great place to hangout and or swim off of. There is a boat ramp just maybe a mile away, we brought our boat and jet skis. We put them in the water and tied to the dock for the week. We also took them out of the water and trailered them the 30 minutes north up to Lake Jocassee two different days during our stay, that is something well worth the time and effort! overall we enjoyed our stay and would very seriously consider booking this place again next summer. We do a week long family vacation every summer and have been to disney, up to the mountains to Dollywood, down to the beach, even to Antigua, and everyone thought this week on Lake Keowee was the best vacation we've done yet.

Summer vacation with family

Our stay at 1400 Cool Ridge was just perfect!! The house was beautiful, clean, well stocked and comfortable. The dock was very nice, decking is top of the line. Easy on and off of our boats. The hot tub is very nice. We all had a really wonderful week that we will never forget!!

Fantastic vacation home!

We just stayed at this wonderful house and had such a great time! This house was perfect for my family of 5 plus my MIL, FIL, and BIL. It's honestly perfect for all ages with all that is provided. High chairs, children's books, grown up books, stocked kitchens and bathrooms, etc. The little cove is off a bigger cove and was perfect to swim in for us and our kids with no water traffic. The hot tub is an awesome bonus! Johnny is very quick at responding to my messages too! We would love to go back!

Great getaway with the boat!

Clean and well-equipped, this house tucked back in a gated community was awesome! It had everything we needed. We brought our boat and had concerns about trailer storage and ramp access, but both were convenient and free of charge. The dock was also very nice. Check n and check out were simple and convenient. Johnny was prompt with replies and attentive. We will come here again.

Thanksgiving week

We had a great Thanksgiving week in this great lake house. The house had plenty of space and the two full kitchens were extremely helpful for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Great for families!
