It was in a ghetto area according to my Uber drivers; but I didn't have any issues. The place over all was great for what I needed and affordable. The property owner was fast to respond to any questions. The bed was super comfy too

Better than expected

Some of the past reviews put a negative perception in my head, which I legitimately feel bad for believing. David is a great host, and very accommodating. Not to mention the location is very close to just about anything that you would like to do in the city.

Did not stay

Upon arrival we were scared of the environment. We expressed concern to the host and he got angry and aggressive. He called us rude and accused us of being racist. We never said anything about race. The gate was open to all and an armed police officer was at the gate. When on a trip we don't want to worry about our safety or the safety of our stuff. We asked for a partial refund and he refused. We just wanted to feel safe. I would not recommend this vrbo to women alone or even in pairs. High crime rate in this area.

Worst experience ever

We warned the owner that we will arrived late (around midnight) but he told us that it was early checking and asked for more money. We asked him to cancel the reservation and get a refund but he did not respond to our messages and we paid without even staying in the accommodation.

Recommend!

David was a gracious and communicative host. He even made me a copy of his key, which was very thoughtful. Very close proximity to a major highway so that made accessing Atlanta highway system a breeze. Off street parking in gated parking lot was a huge plus and included in the rate.
