A Grand property beckons you into its warm and inviting atmosphere where special attention to detail delights you in every room. The main floor boasts a beautiful large living room complete with a baby grand piano, luxurious leather couch and golden sunlight streaming through the large picture windows. A master suite with a gorgeous bathroom and a double twin room finish out the main floor. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms all uniquely furnished, providing you a quiet sanctuary with beautiful bedding and cozy robes. Dine al fresco outdoors on the large patio or sit around the fire pit sipping delicious Oregon Pinot. The dining area can seat 15 to 20 people so it is a perfect house for a family reunion, wedding party accommodations, rehearsal dinner with a private chef or a wine tour group.. This is a unique property that has been thoughtfully remodeled and provides you with all that you could want for a wine country experience. Just 3 blocks to the quaint downtown Carlton, tasting rooms restaurants and fun shopping await you.

This property was beautiful with plenty of options for sleeping. Most rooms were spacious, and the common areas were great for gathering. It was a wonderful place to stay for our girls trip wine tasting. We will definitely stay again!

Wine Country Escape was a wonderful retreat for our girls trip exploring the Willamette Valley. The house is very large. Each bedroom offered comfort and privacy with just enough bathrooms to making getting ready easy.Carlton is walkable and offers all the necessities that made our stay effortless. Joka was thoughtful, responsive, and a great host. Thanks for a great weekend.

Great home that is walkable to Carlton downtown. Our host was great with communication. The 2 full baths are downstairs with the other 1 and 1/2 bath upstairs with the other 4 bedrooms. Quirky decor but comfortable and quaint. Outdoor patio area is awesome and secluded.

Lovely house, great places to eat and good kitchen to cook and prepare food. There were 3 of us upstairs but room for 4 more. It would be difficult with 7 people to have access to only one bathroom. The downstairs friends shared so all was fine, but if possible another 1/2 bath upstairs would be nice. Very nice outdoor spaces; hosts were interesting, good people.

Great place for a family gathering!

Stayed at this home with my brother and sister and their families. Plenty of room, and the beds were comfortable. We didn’t spend much time at the home, due to events planned for the wedding we were all attending, but the time we did spend there was quite enjoyable!

This property is amazing! Great place for a large group of friends and family. Beds were comfortable with top quality bedding. kitchen had all the equipment needed to make meals. There is plenty of dining space for a large group. Charming decorations throughout the house. All in all a wonderful home.

Charming Home in Carlton OR

The Alexander House was the perfect for our family celebration weekend. It has historic charm yet modern convenience. Coffee shops, local restaurants, and wineries are only a few blocks away. Best of all... Joka helped ensure everything was perfect for the weekend.

Joka and Alexander could not have been more responsive or thoughtful. Their home is lovely and has every amenity possible. We had the best time and if our plans bring us to Carlton again, we will definitely want to stay here.

Wonderful Stay

The house is as wonderful as it looks. My friends and I spent a long weekend exploring Carlton and wine country, and this is the perfect place to stay. The house is so comfortable, most items that you need are readily available, and there is so much space to spread out or gather together without feeling on top of each other.

Fun place to stay.

Great location for wine tasting. Fun house to stay, with all the art and collections. Spacious rooms and gathering areas. Only has 2 full bathrooms and 2 quarter bathrooms ie.1 with a shower and a sink and the other with a toilet and a sink. We made it work with 4 couples. Yes, we would stay there again.

This property was perfect for my daughter’s 21st birthday girls weekend. The property owner was fun and attentive. The house is unique and amazing. Amazing Long Weekend w/ Friends

Our stay was exceptional. Not only is the house beautiful with tons of space for our group of 10+, a full kitchen, so many spots for us to gather, but Joka really went above and beyond to make sure I felt celebrated for my birthday. Her and her son were very easy to get in contact with to help with check-in and provide recommendations within the area. Thank you so much for an unforgettable trip!

The location of this property was superb in that it was so close of a walking distance to the wineries and surprisingly wonderful restaurants. The property manager went to every level to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. It exceeded our expectations and made our trip a blast. If I am in Carlton or the Williamette Valley this will be our home

Wonderful experience!

If you have the chance to stay at this property, take it! Joka was the sweetest person to work with and even added special touches to the house for our stay that were so thoughtful. The house was perfect for our family gathering with plenty of space and a great location. I cannot say enough good things about the house itself or Joka and Alexander. The communication with them was fantastic! It was truly a wonderful trip!

Heart Warming Home

I stayed in the Alexander House with 8 of my friends/family to celebrate my upcoming marriage. We fell in love with the home the moment we walked through the door. The listing can’t even capture all the character, warmth, and beauty this property offers. So much space, lots of areas to gather and socialize with a large group, and amazing outdoor area with plenty of seating. We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more!
