The Cook's House

Welcome to the Cook's House! This completely renovated bungalow is located 3 blocks from historic downtown Laramie's shops and restaurants, and 4 blocks from the University of Wyoming.

Equipped with all the comforts of home, such as strong WiFi and Nespresso; the bungalow also boasts a beautiful gas fireplace, pullout sofa and private back patio. To welcome summer guests, we recently added a window AC unit, fans, and a propane gas grill on the back patio. Longer term guests will appreciate the clothes washer/dryer and dishwasher.

Cook House - Super Cute

My husband & I enjoyed our stay. Super cute, perfect for just the two of us. Super close to down town & so many cute places to go. We will definitely stay here again when we make another trip!

After some changes in my schedule, I wasn't able to stay as scheduled but the host was extremely understanding and generous. She offered a partial refund which was way more that I expected. Based upon her exceptional kindness, this will be the first place I look to book for my frequent travels to Laramie.

Perfect place for the two of us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nite stay at Linda's adorable comfortable place! The location was perfect. We loved the decor and especially enjoyed the cozy warm gas fireplace in the living room since it was chilly in the evenings! We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay!

We were in Laramie for my daughter’s graduation from Law School. This little house was perfect for our stay! Beautifully decorated and more room than we expected. We will try to rent again for future visits for sure!

Great house near downtown and campus

We enjoyed staying at the Cook's House and would definitely stay there again. It was walking distance to downtown and the campus and made it easy for us to enjoy our time there. The host was very responsive and helpful.

lovely football game weekend

Great Stay

This was really like home away from home! Very comfortable. Great coffee, cookies and milk, oversized bath towels, robs hanging in the closet, cozy fire place. Quiet area easy to get to and parking right outside the front door! I’ll definitely be staying again!!

Could not have asked for a better place to stay. I was in Laramie for the month of September, 2025, and this was the perfect spot! It is in a quiet spot, but only a couple blocks from the restaurants and nightlife. Everything is very walkable. The cottage itself is small, but perfect for one or two people. It is updated nicely and appointed very well. The space was very clean and bright. I really enjoyed the town of Laramie, and and hope to visit again. If i do, I won't bother to look for another place. I think I've already found the best place in town.
