I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. As we discussed, I consider an "event" to be a group of people invited to celebrate or gather, especially with confetti strewn about the property, inside and out, such as the Bachelorette Party that you held here. Webster's says it is "a social occasion (as a party)." I am sorry that you don't see why scattering decorations and having more guests than you paid for might incur an extra fee. It certainly costs more to clean up. To be clear, we often accommodate small gatherings during guest stays when the guest is forthcoming and honest about their intentions. I reduced the fee to try to give the benefit of the doubt that you actually don't understand the rules and were not intentionally deceptive.
