Cozy, quaint and evoking all the beauty of Rock Lake, this vacation rental promises an idyllic stay! The 4 bedroom , 2.5 bath features gorgeous Rock Lake Views from the front and direct Glacier Drumlin Trail access in the back! Located directly across from the boat launch makes it super easy to drop in your kayak (2 are provided!) or put in your boat for a day on the lake! Visit local attractions like Sandy Beach, Aztalan State Park, Lewis Station Winery, Tyranena Brewery, shop the "Norman Rockwell-ish" downtown and catch a Friday night fish fry at one of many local restaurants.

Property was as described. Location was good. Went on 16 mile bike ride on Glacial Drumlin trail. There was a heavy rain one day but house stayed dry inside. Used kayaks one day.

A wonderful stay

This property has such comfortable and updated furniture! 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. A lovely kitchen with a full stocked kitchen for cooking. We love the proximity to the boat launch! So convenient! It’s our 2nd time here and we all made great memories again this year. The host is very helpful and responds quickly to questions.

The beach house is awesome! Very spacious and beautifully updated. The owners spared no expense in renovating the home. The location was incredible
 literally across the street from the lake and public beach. We really enjoyed the kayaks provided. Wonderful next door neighbor who gave us great suggestions of things to do. The owner was fantastic to work with, very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Nature Lovers

Great location for outdoor activities with the Glaciel-Drumlin trail right behind the house for biking/walking and the lake and marsh for swimming and water activities. The lake wasn’t too crowded. We saw a lot of wildlife! The quaint town of Lake Mills is nearby and offers some nice restaurants if you don’t want to cook every night. We rode our bikes to pick up a few groceries. Our host was, Stacy, was great and very responsive. The house was very clean with a nice patio. The only negative was the Aztalan Inn Bar which is just outside the town of Lake Mills. It was 7 on Sunday and some of the in-town restaurants were closing at 8. Weird experience! The waitress told us she would “get to us when she gets to us” when we walked in. Then some patrons kept turning up the music on a jute box type machine and replaying the same song while they looked at us and laughed. (We are a polite bunch and had two kids with us) The music was deafening. Literally my ear was starting to ache. After about 20 minutes without any service we just walked out and went to a very friendly and delicious El Mariachi restaurant in town. I’m 64 years old, well traveled and never experienced anything like that - a bit scary, very rude place if you’re an average bear.

Wonderful summer get away

The location was perfect. Within walking distance of the public beach and the nature trail. Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The town of Lake Mills was delightful. We would definitely return if the opportunity allowed.

Lake Mills Fishing Homecoming

Fun girls getaway

Our yearly girls getaway found us traveling to Lake Mills. We had a wonderful time relaxing and spent some time downtown. The Lewis Winery had good food. The others in our group went to the Pfarmacy and saw some good music. We definitely would stay here again. A must visit place is The Good Stuff Resale next to the Library.

What a great stay!

We absolutely loved this beautiful property! Everything was so clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and very well arranged near living space with tv. We loved the walking path, the kayaks and all of the outdoor spaces. It was also very convenient for boating and walking to the beach. We hope to come back soon!

Perfect Family getaway!

We had an incredible time here! Two families of 4 stayed over the 4th of July. An easy drive from the Chicago area. The location of the house is great- it’s across the street from the public beach and under a 10 minute drive into town. The kids LOVED the public beach and playing in both the front and back yard. Amazing trail behind the house! Lake Mills is a perfect weekend getaway for families and would definitely stay here again. The host is full of recommendations and although we couldn’t get it all in, we hope to come back!

Modern & cozy stay by the lake

Nearly new cottage by the lake with a BBQ and good outdoor space. The common areas are great and have everything you need, though the bedrooms are a bit small. Solid place for 5 adults and 2 kids. The beach is a 5 minute walk and Lake Mills is a cute town. The host was very helpful and responsive.
