A very nicely appointed and well decorated home on the beach. Pretty much anything you would need was provided. One small exception was house keeping forgot to leave a garbage bag. We enjoyed the spectacular oceans views from the home with lovely sunrises and sunsets.Comfortable beds and nice large couch were great for relaxing.The lighted path on the beach was a nice touch!

Perfect house that met all of our needs with a toddler. Very clean, right on the beach, and great communication from the hosts. This house had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend.

House close to the gulf

Check in process was easy, however, we did receive a call from the host the next day that we unknownibgly set off an alarm. That was a little concerning. The house was clean, well equipt for the most part, however the ice maker did not work so we had to constantly get ice or fill ice trays. The beach is conveniently located across the street from the home, however it is a bit of a distance to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The beach itself had a lot of drift wood and other gulf debris that washed up which made the beach a little less pretty that maybe in other ms gulf coast areas. We paid an extra deposit for an additional dog. As part of the cleaning instructions, we vacuumed the floors and couches, pulled linens on beds, started a wash, cleaned all dishes and took the trash to the curb. Follow our check out, we recieved a disconcerting message from the host stating there was still significant dog hair in the home. The house was nice, smalled than expected, but over all the stay was lovely. My only recommendation to future renters is not be sure that you vacuum well prior to leaving should you bring your furry friends with you.

Great for a perfect beach stay!

My family needed an impromptu beach trip, and this property was the perfect thing for us. We were right on the beach, and felt like we had lots of privacy. The check in and out process was easy and everything with the property was clean and comfy.

Peaceful Retreat

Gorgeous, sunrises and sunsets. Comfortable home equipped with everything you could need. Relax on the large veranda and watch the birds and dolphins. Set on the tree swing on the beach and enjoy the sound of the water and the cool breeze

Two in one vacation

House and property was very secluded. The beach in the front of home beautiful, wildlife very entertaining, beautiful sun rises and sets. In the back in the Bayou was so different, but very amazing. I love to fish but I had never craved, we had our own crab broil meal it was so awesome. Thank you for the use of your lovely home.

Perfect escape

Our little family loved staying at Wes and Hannah’s place. The place was the perfect spot for some nice and relaxing time and the private beach was amazing as well! They had everything we could ask for and had toys for the beach! We hope to visit again!

Perfect Getaway

Perfect location, easiest walk to the beach, especially with a baby! Even with rainy weather, the porch over looking the beach was absolutely perfect to enjoy outside beach views.

Wonderful Beach House

House is everything listed and more. Great location, beautiful views. Kitchen is well stocked and the furnishings are better quality than typical rental furniture. Very quiet and peaceful. The front porch rocking chairs were our favorite spot. Great area for walking or bike riding.

Peaceful Relaxation

Quiet road. Clean home. Well stocked for cooking. Convenient to park under home in the shade and out of weather for unloading and loading vehicle. Kids enjoyed the basketball hoop. Our first time in MS so the darker water took a bit to get used to but we all spent lots of time swimming and loved the private beach area. Short drive to town. Hosts responsive and accommodating. Overall, great experience and highly recommend.

Perfect, Relaxing Haven!

Such a wonderful, relaxing vacation spot! House was exactly as pictured, owners were very pleasant, and the opportunity to observe so much wildlife without even leaving the porch was phenomenal. So many beautiful birds, a few dolphins, and even an alligator made our week memorable. Restaurants are a short drive away but also the perfect distance so you can relax away from the world while near the house. We had the beach to ourselves all week! Only suggestion- bring some water shoes for the ocean. A few storms stirred up some garbage we stepped on in the water (obviously no fault of the owners). Can’t wait to return to this property again!

Great Getaway

Barefoot Living was the perfect house for my husband and myself to have a relaxing getaway. Very clean and tastefully decorated, this house was very well furnished. My favorite was sitting in the rockers on the front porch. So relaxing. The beach wasn’t the best beach I’ve been to, but it was adequate and most of the time we were the only ones on the beach. We enjoyed downtown Ocean Springs, golfing at nearby courses and dining at Anthony’s and Kenny Ward’s. Two suggestions: get new beach chairs. The listing said they were provided, but one was so rusty, it would not fold up, the other was very uncomfortable. We would have brought ours if we had known. Also, the master bedroom needs blackout curtain. The sun rises at 6 am, so if you’re looking to sleep in on your vacation, you won’t.

Amazing

Welcoming from the moment you drive up to the property! Lovely home surrounded by beautiful magnolias and mature oak trees! The incredible front porch overlooking the amazing, private beach was my favorite spot — those comfortable rocking chairs are the best!! Nice, quiet area for jogging and dog walking. Everything you could possibly want to create a relaxing, rejuvenating vacation! Homeowners were awesome! Loved every minute!!

Didn't want to leave!

Overall, we had a really excellent stay here at this beautiful house and throughly enjoyed the amenities. The surrounding nature is just wonderful, and we loved using the kayaks. My favorite was the private location, and the residential feel of the house and yard with the giant trees and cool breezes. Beds were very comfortable, we all slept very well...first night we unfortunately dealt with a loud bachelor party next door, but this was not to be helped, nor the property owner's fault. Really no complaints, we would definitely return sometime!

Beautiful, Clean and comfortable

Wonderfu! Caught crabs in back yard creek! Recommend going to Pass Christian to buy Oysters at Crystal Seas Seafood and Shrimp and Crabs at Kimball's Seafood. Only disappointment was that there were no adult Kayaks at the place as expected. Would have brought my own, had I known.
