Overall, this was a great beach house. It is so close to the beach and within walking distance of both the Surf City Pier and the Sound. You can even see the bridge from the kitchen window if you want to monitor traffic before heading out. The street traffic is a little bit loud at night. There are several restaurants within walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped with extras like condiments, tin foil, sandwich bags, etc. The beds were comfortable and linens were high quality and very soft. Plenty of towels and nice showers with good water pressure. We had planned to grill but were unable to use the grill because it had not been cleaned. Overall we had a wonderful beach weekend and were very happy with the house.

Overall the house was quiet and comfortable which is perfect when looking to have a peaceful vacation. Everything we needed for cooking was in the kitchen, there was lots of information about Surf City provided making it easier to find places to eat and visit. The location is great - in walking distance to a lot of places, and a quick walk to the beach access across the street. George was responsive and courteous and provided all the information we needed for checking in and out.

Awesome house! Everything was wonderful. Walked to the beach, the pier, ice cream and restaurants. Loved sitting out on the porch. Loved the outdoor shower after the beach. We had 5 people and had plenty of space. Easy check in and booking overall. Would love to stay again!

Excellent trip

The property was amazing, it’s probably one of the cleanest rentals I’ve ever stayed in! The host was extremely communicative and fast with responses from start to finish booking this property was a breeze and I will definitely be looking forward to working with this house again in the future.

No Gloomy days

Had a little family time at the beach! Gloomy weather during our stay, but the Palm Breeze was not only a nice spacious house but had plenty of games and puzzles for our family time! We did not have littles or bring our pets this time, but may next time due to the great accommodations! Beach access right there, and able to walk to everything very easily! Host was fantastic and quicker to respond woth any questions and suggestions! We will visit again! Thank you so Much!

Family time!

We had a great time with family, close to everything we wanted to do, plenty of space, views of the beach and sound! The stairs were a little hard on the older folks but we managed. I would stay again!

Christmas with Family

The property was central to all our needs. The ocean was literally just up the street. The balcony was the perfect place to enjoy the evening sunset. The beds were very comfortable. Once we put up our pencil tree with decorations, it was the perfect setting for our family gathering. George, the owner, aimed to please, and always available; although we didn't want to disturb him, as he was enjoying Christmas elsewhere. Overall, it was the perfect place to be at Christmas ⛄ Thank you.

Family Week in NC

The property was exactly as described and very clean & comfortable! George, the host was great to work with and went out of his way to make our trip enjoyable! Beautiful House in Surf City Close to Everything

This was a beautiful home in a great location of Surf City. There was everything you could want in a short walking distance. We enjoyed spending time at the house. It has amazing views from the deck. There are also lots of great food options very close. Well maintained backyard that was spacious with pretty landscaping. I would definitely recommend staying at this rental. George and Holly are wonderful hosts.

Spacious home close to EVERYTHING

The property is within walking distance to everything, has a well stocked kitchen as well as a gas grill. It is spacious inside as well as has plenty of sitting space outdoors. Our main concern was how dirty the floors were - appeared to need a good mopping. We also weren't able to use the dryer but luckily there was a clothes line available, and the grassy areas for our dog was a huge plus! The owner was readily available & very responsive to any messages sent. Definitely recommend this home!

Great 1st Time Trip to Topsail Beach

Our family had a great time and the property was perfect. There was enough space for 7 adults and 2 children. The beach access was fantastic and the kids loved that Daybreak Donuts was across the street. The porch off the living area extended the living space and we used it consistently. George was great to work with and the property was well-equipped with everything we might need. I will be recommending this property to our friends and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Wonderful Place!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here so much. George and Holly were wonderful hosts. This home is so beautifully updated and furnished/decorated. It had everything we needed and more and was immaculately clean. It is very spacious and the room with the bunk beds is great for teens-ours loved hanging out there playing games. We loved the close proximity to the beach and all of the restaurants and shops. Would give this 10 stars if possible. Can't wait to be back! Thank you George and Holly.

Perfect birthday weekend

The house was better than in the photos. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped with everything needed for the weekend. The location was ideal and easy to walk to the beach and grocery store each time we realized we needed something. George was very communicative and accommodating. We had a great time.

In the heart of Surf City

We wanted to be within walking distance of everything (with older teens in our group). This home is perfect if that's your goal. Book it, don't look any further if so. We only drove the car once in 4 nights and that was to dinner at the Crab Pot. We enjoyed the many balconies, spent most time out there. We live in the country/rural, so when we go on vacation, we don't mind road noise, etc. We get enough of the quiet.This home is on a busy corner lot by the main thoroughfare, so you will hear road noise. That, and many stairs are the only things I'd say be aware of (if traveling with anyone with limited mobility/elderly). I didn't invite my mother/in law for that reason. Nice big grassy lawn compared to most beach homes. Amenities galore, comfortable furnishings and WONDERFUL host family.
