Escape to the forest at Singer Cabin #2, a rustic 1-bedroom, 1-bath retreat tucked between Ouray and Ridgway. One of three cabins on a multi-acre property, this cozy getaway offers seclusion, mountain views, and the perfect base for exploring the San Juan Mountains. Enjoy a simple mountain lifestyle with a wood-burning stove, floor heating, and large windows that bring warmth and sunshine into the living space.

• Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening windows at night when temps drop into the 40s.
• Parking for 2 vehicles available
• 4WD/AWD required for winter stays (September–May)
• Pets are not permitted at this property
• County STR Permit #2025-068

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

For basically the same price as a hotel, we got a cute little cabin that was very close to town but still secluded enough to feel private. A very comfortable place to stay. Bonus deer and wild turkey sightings. The driveway is very steep. I see why you would need four wheel drive in the winter but our equinox made it up as long as we put it in low gear.

We had a great trip to Colorado and loved our time at this cabin! The nights were cool so we were able to open the windows and listen to nature as we went to sleep and then the best part was waking up to that view! We even had deer grazing within view one morning. Location was perfect for our day trips to Telluride and Silverton too.

Quiet, Beautiful Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in this cabin conveniently located just five miles from Ouray and Ridgeway. We enjoyed the resident deer, turkeys, other birds, and chipmunks. The one bathroom in the house is downstairs, not a big deal to us, but something to note for general renters. The kitchen is well appointed and we appreciated the personalized bags of toiletries, cleaning items, and soap. Nice outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the sunshine, and the upstairs window looking out at the mountains is spectacular. The property management service was accommodating, changing our reservation when a prior rental property pulled their listing. Their communication was excellent throughout, even when there was an issue with the water (no fault of theirs, the main pipe down by the road had a leak) the evening we arrived. I would definitely recommend this property and company.

Ouray is a magical place, and our stay in here was a great location. Directions to the place were somewhat misleading, but we made a call the young lady stayed on the phone until we found the cabin. The place is clean, and the views from the bedroom and the living room are fantastic. We had turkeys great us every day, and on our last morning, we had four mule deer bucks walk within 10 feet of the property. We would stay again!

Great little cabin

This was our third time at this cabin. We enjoyed the beautiful location and it's isolation but missed the donkies that used to live near by.

Excellent location. Very clean. When we originally booked this, having looked at the pictures online, we thought, it's an older building and probably in need of updating, but the price and location are right. We were quite surprised when we got there. What an incredible find! The owners have really taken care of this place and we would absolutely stay here again!

The location of this cabin couldn't have been more perfect, halfway between Ridgway and Ouray. Beautiful views all around. Three days we watched mule deer graze within 50 feet of us. Very quiet and very peaceful, exactly what we needed. I did have to buy hangers for our clothes (we stayed 7 days) but that's the ONLY "complaint". There are so many options of what to do, we were never bored, even though it rained half the stay. We hope to return. Thank you!
