Once Upon a Lake - Camp Happily Ever After

Located on a serene, two-mile-long Hadlock Pond. Only minutes to Lake George, Fort William Henry, hiking trails & shopping outlets. This 5 BR, 2 bath home has indoor & outdoor fireplaces. Feel right at home in the Adirondacks! 100' of waterfront, with dock on 1 acre of private land; luxury Adirondack furnishings. Beautiful for every season in the year. Skiers and Snowboarders paradise with several mountains nearby (Gore, Hickory & West Mountain).

The swimming is unique! 35 feet offshore is your own private island ( 15 ft by 15 ft). Wade out to the island in only 18 inches of water. Great for young children to swim and play safely. Just beyond the island, the water turns deeper making it superb for boating and floating. The home is minutes from Lake George, Lake George shopping outlets, public golf courses, tennis, bike trails. Gore Mountain(skiing)is 35 min, West Mountain(skiing)is 25 min, Killington is 45 Min, Saratoga Race Track is 20 min. For the kids, there is The Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom( 10 Min.) and the Great Escape Indoor Water Park. Covered Rain porch for outside sitting.

The entire home is available to rent. To avoid any disappointment, pets are not allowed.

Guests will be required to sign a lease. The owner will provide a lease document prior to the booking request being accepted. The lease will specify house rules and stipulate a cancellation policy. The lease is sent out via Docusign to be signed electronically. Contact information (Name, Address, Email, Phone Number) must be provided.

We had a wonderful long weekend with friends and family the pictures do not do this house justice. It was everything we needed and more.

Everything was great the property had everything we needed and the kids loved the waterfront area and went fishing and swimming everyday day.I would highly recommend this property there was plenty of room for the 10 of us with an upper deck and lower deck to sit outside and enjoy the view. The outside fireplace was great for toasting marshmallows.

Great home, right on the water. Well appointed, comfortable and cozy. Everything you need in the kitchen to cook your favorite meals. If cooking isn’t your thing on vacation the location of the home is close enough to great restaurants. Would absolutely rent this home again! Very, very quiet at night.

This is a lovely place. Literally nothing was missing. Had everything we needed and more. Family trip with ages from 9 months to 63 and everyone was comfortable. There are a lot of rocks in the swimming area, so brig water shoes, but a lovely place to spend time in the water and shallow for the kids. Host was super communicative and helpful with our questions. My only complaint is that there is very little storage space in the kitchen which made it a bit cramped. Overall a great week and beautiful place!

Converted a bunch of beach people to lake people!

Stayed here the last week in June with my family of 4, and my sisters families and our mom. 4 boys 8-10, 1 2yo, and one teenager. The water was spectacular for floating around and kayaking, it wasn’t too cold as we had thought it may be. Everyone was catching fish all week, just needed a hook and a worm. Tons of life jackets were and stuff to float around on were there (3 single kayaks, 1SUP, and a paddle boat, along with someInflatables) The shallow area made things very comfortable with the kids in the water, even the little one was having a blast wading around. Lake was not busy at all with boats and jet skis, evenings were very peaceful sitting on the deck with some cocktails. We usually do beach vacations, but I think I like this better. Highly recommend!

Very Relaxing, Beautiful Home and Setting

My 7 brothers, sisters and myself get together once a year for our family reunion. We have stayed in VRBO's across the country for the past 35 years. This home, by far was the most well appointed home we have stayed in. They include every convivence you would have in your own house. The spice cupboard was fully equipped and then some. The house is clean, warm and cozy. The lake is just the right size for kayaking, paddle boating, fishing and swimming. The outside is equally as well equipped with all your water fun activities. Added bonuses are the 2 firepits with many chairs on the desks, by the water and near the firepits. Our week was very enjoyable indeed.

5 Senior High School Friends Getting Together

Very clean, well maintained, and very well stocked. Daniel was quick to respond to communications, although my cell phone service was spotty at times. Wonderful location on water and there were several towns nearby. The house was decorated with an Adirondack theme and felt quite homey. I felt like Goldilocks in the Three Bears' house sleeping on the "just right" mattress. This was the best VRBO rental I've stayed in so far.

Wonderful waterfront

Our grandchildren especially had a wonderful time swimming and kayaking using the kayaks and paddle board. We brought kayaks and floats but discovered the house had them when we arrived. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of places to sit outside on the deck and dock.

Great Lake House Vacation

Lovely lake house located right on Hadlock Pond in Fort Ann area. Great central air conditioning and WiFi service throughout. Host (Daniel) is friendly and helpful. Home is well stocked with supplies for guests and we loved using the included 3 kayaks and paddle board every day. Very convenient to lots of outdoor activities at local adventure centers too!

The perfect getaway spot!

We had a great vacation at Daniel's home! The house was clean and comfortable and Hadlock Pond was the perfect small, peaceful lake for swimming, kayaking and fishing. We had several young kids in our group and they loved splashing around in the shallow water by the shore. We rented a pontoon boat for a couple days and were able to park it at the end of the dock. Daniel was incredibly accommodating and the home was well stocked - we especially appreciated the plentiful paper plates, napkins and utensils. There was even a pack n play and high chair for our baby. The perfect vacation spot!

Family Friendly Getaway

What a fantastic getaway this was for our entire family, a rare event! We are still talking about how special it was to be all together in such a perfect house. The house was immaculate and the lake was quiet, clean and just beautiful. The house and dock were wonderfully equipped with anything you could possibly need, including a fully equipped kitchen and a high chair and pack and play for little ones. We spent hours together kayaking, paddle boarding and sitting around the fire at night. Daniel was immediately responsive and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Our only regret is that we will not be able to return as an entire group In the future with our ever growing family becoming too large. Our stay is a one time event that we will ever treasure!

Our family was very impressed with this home, the location and all that it had to offer. We loved being able to use the kayaks and sit by the water. It was a little on the cool side, so no swimming, but a great place to be anyway!

The Hadlock Lake Adirondack Dream

I very nice property with all of the extras you could want. Even your own private island.... (I would have liked if some of the undergrowth were cut back a little, I was wanting to do a few photos of friends on it, but the bushes made it hard). (it's only about 15 feet long and 6 feet wide!) Hanging on the deck was a favored place, great view!

Family getaway

We had a great week on the water! The house had everything we needed. We made use of the kayaks and paddleboard often. But most of the time we just liked to all float in the water together or hang out on the dock! Plenty of space inside and out for our group of 11 (mostly adults). Daniel was great to work with and we all said it was our best place yet!

Fort Ann/Lake George Vacation Home

Our family absolutely loved this vacation home! We are a family of 7 adults and 2 teens. The home was clean and equipped with everything we needed/wanted. The owner was very responsive to our questions prior to our check-in. The waterfront property was great as well, including kayaks, paddle board and peddle boat for our use and a beautiful boat dock with many chairs. This was one of our family's best vacation spots and we look forward to being able to revisit this property in the future!

Amazing Stay

One of the best VRBO’s we have stayed in. Clean with all the amenities possible. Great location. We stayed to see the ice castles but they canceled. No one was disappointed though. We tried ice fishing on the lake. At night we sat by the indoor fire and played games. Plenty of room for all!!
