Authentique camp Adirondack ~ plage sans rendez-vous ~ un endroit oĂč vous reviendrez sans cesse

Cette maison principale privĂ©e au bord du lac et son cottage sĂ©parĂ© se trouvent sur un acre au bout d'un chemin privĂ©. L'une des rares propriĂ©tĂ©s avec une plage de sable privĂ©e et une exposition ouest, elle est parfaite pour les familles qui apprĂ©cient le soleil de l'aprĂšs-midi. Dock a l'espace pour un bateau de 24 'et est Ă©galement un endroit idĂ©al pour la pĂȘche tĂŽt le matin. Un hamac est tendu entre deux arbres et des chaises Adirondack sont sur la pelouse pour se dĂ©tendre. Un barbecue Ă  charbon Weber disponible pour la cuisson en plein air, une table de pique-nique prĂšs de l'eau et un foyer au bord de l'eau pour les feux de camp de fin de nuit. La maison principale peut accueillir 7 personnes, cuisine complĂšte et salle de petit-dĂ©jeuner, cheminĂ©e en pierre dans le salon, vĂ©randa avec vue sur le lac. Chambre d'hĂŽtes avec salle de bain privĂ©e complĂšte et laveuse et sĂ©cheuse, peut accueillir jusqu'Ă  4 (lit queen + couchette). A / C dans la maison principale et Guest Cottage. Bons sentiers de randonnĂ©e Ă  moins de 2 miles. Minutes du village de Lake George en bateau ou en voiture. Outlet shopping, parcs d'attractions et Ă©vĂ©nements culturels Ă  quelques minutes. Saratoga 40 minutes, l'aĂ©roport d'Albany 1 heure


Il y a un chalet de propriĂ©taires sur la propriĂ©tĂ© plus haut de la montagne qui peut ĂȘtre louĂ© pour les grands groupes. De temps Ă  autre, le propriĂ©taire peut rester dans le chalet pendant que les deux autres unitĂ©s sont louĂ©es.

This is our second time visiting Cycleman’s place. It is a little paradise for our family . We love the camps charm. Nights by the fire inside and many hours watching the grandkids in the sand and splashing in the lake . Made use of the canoes and enjoyed wonderful sunsets . Hope to come stay again ! Lakefront fun

Great 4 night stay.With 3 full baths the house and cottage were perfect for our group. Sandy beach waterfront was awesome for swimming and lounging. Plenty of privacy and space. House had everything we needed. Luckily wasn't hot but all rooms had AC units. Great fishing off the dock too.Bill was very responsive if we had questions. We loved this stay !

October fishing trip for 5 friends

Family Fall Trip

Everyone really enjoyed the property. The house has a lot of history and character. It is right on the water with beautiful sunsets. It has lots of amenities to keep you busy, canoe/kayak, fire pit, hammock, sunroom, etc. We were there for the weekend. I wish we had more time. I definitely recommend this property.

A very special place to make memories!

We just stayed for our 4th year in a row and this has become our family’s favorite place on earth! The house is beautiful - well kept with so much charm and a wonderfully rich history. The screened porch with the magnificent views makes this a paradise in rain or shine! Even a day of storm “Debby” couldn’t bring our family’s spirits down. Belmont Stakes girls trip

The house and smaller cottage were perfect for our group of 10. There was plenty of room for all of us, the house was super clean, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, a gorgeous yard directly on lake, and the host (Bill) was very good about getting back to us with any questions we had. Also loved the location; quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Lake George Village which is a short drive away. Highly recommend! Hope to book again in the future.

Four years and counting

We love our summer vacations here. It is a little slice of heaven and is a special place for everyone in our family—from 2 to 77. Owners are great and super easy to deal with. Location on the lake is ideal. And the sandy beach is perfect. Could not ask for better.

A wonderful location on Lake George. A cottage from 1926. Well maintained and lots of family history. Walk in beach and good boat dock. Friendly owner. Our family had a great vacation there.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Our Grandparents built this house on beautiful Lake George. As the story goes, Alexander and Belle came up from New York City in the 20’s and rented a summer cottage on Diamond Point. They decided to explore the yet undeveloped east side of the lake by row boat. While on the water, a storm blew-in and this beach was the only place they could pull the boat to land. They loved what they found and inquired of its availability.

It just so happened that this area of the lake was a land grant from King George III to the Oakley Estate (locals who favored the King) with the stipulation from the King that the tall pine trees remain available to the crown for ship masts. The property was purchased in 1926. With the help of his brother-in-law Judd, who was an engineer by trade, they built the original cottage. In the late 1960’s, as the family continued to grow, the main cottage had a major renovation and the second cottage was built.

Alexander was a prolific painter who’s works you’ll enjoy throughout the house. His daughter painted his portrait that hangs on the porch. Five generations have grown up here with lasting memories. Our grandparents had a dream, to create a gift on Lake George for their family to enjoy for generations. We hope by sharing this dream with you, you will come to appreciate all the beauty that is Lake George.
