Amazing ski and summer hiking/biking access mountain condo. Edelweiss has some of the easiest access to chair 1 and chair 2 on the entire mountain. The condo has spectacular valley and mountain views from the spacious living room and deck. The living room is open to the kitchen with a bedroom on the same level. The bed is a queen-sized bed and there is a full pullout couch in the living room. There is also a full-sized Murphy bed. The living room has a large, comforting fireplace and a brand new flatscreen TV. There is a deck just off the living room to enjoy on summer afternoons or Apres Ski. Keurig style & Mr. Coffee maker.

Wifi and cable TV are provided (TV in bedroom is a smart TV for streaming apps). For those long, hot summer days, the unit has an A/C in the living room as well as the bedroom. The unit comes with a parking space in front of the building that is private to Edelweiss. Local skiers pay to be in this most upper lot. Edelweiss has a hot tub and sauna to help rest those muscles after a long day on the slopes. The hot tub will be open during the ski season. There will be one day per week when they drain, clean and refill it. It will be unavailable until later that evening. Laundry is coin-operated and shared between all other units in the building. *Firewood is not provided. It can be purchased at Village Market. A building is being constructed next door.

The slope-side mountain ski access is hard to beat. Just a stone's throw away from Chair One that whisks you to the Summit of the Big Mountain.

Location is in the heart of Whitefish Mountain Resort. Several great shops, restaurants and bars within a block of the condo. Less than an hour from West Glacier, the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Just 7 miles to downtown Whitefish.

We have a 60 day cancellation policy. More than 60 days notice full refund minus $100 administrative fee. Less than 60 days no refunds.

Beautifully decorated in ski-cabin motif. Nothing lacking in the kitchen. Easy access to major chairlifts. Propane grills close. May be room for four, no more. Queen in master very comfortable. And plenty of blankets if you don’t like the cold. Did not use the Murphy Bed in living room. Sit on your balcony with a beverage and watch hikers and bikers conquer the hill., and skiers in the snowy months. Fifteen minutes to Whitefish.

For a late July “summer” experience, the condo is extremely dated with late 1980’s / early 90’s lighting in living, bathroom and bedroom. Furniture echoed 1970’s “log” and although it could look nice in pix, it was all very uncomfortable. Bathroom very dated. Like White Fish itself, this condo is All over priced for what it is …

You can tell from his review that some people are impossible to make happy. This guest complained from the very beginning when every other guest we have had has been so happy. He complained about the dated nature of the condo. The ironic thing is that the photos show it as more dated than it currently is. The photos show the original old appliances and carpet even though there is brand new flooring and appliances. We have accurately described, photographed and priced the condo compared to other new are and much more expensive places. If you are looking for an affordable , clean condo with a wonderful location to amenities and incredible view, this is the place for you.

It is a beautiful location, on a ski mountain with a nice view. The building is a little dated but it was well-maintained and clean. The kitchen was nice with everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.

Big Mountain Condo

We had a great, long weekend at this lovely location. The view is spectacular and still a short drive into Whitefish.Very easy access to Glacier which is a plus. The condo is very well equipped and comfortable. We would stay again.

Comfy stay!

The place was easy to find and super clean. The apartment was well stocked and the bed was probably the most comfortable thing we’ve ever slept on. It was the perfect place to stay while we eloped! We’ll definitely be back.

Perfect View

This was really close to the chair lift which was good since I was attending a wedding at the top of the mountain. The view was perfect even with the fog and the village is was cute.

Awesome Montana Visit

Enjoyed making Whitefish “home-base” for a few days of exploration in Glacier National Park, The Plains Indian Museum on The Blackfeet Reservation, and The Bison Range. The only downside was long delays for roadwork up and down the mountain each day (not enjoyable).

Great Views and Location

Overall this is a great place to stay. The location right on the mountain is wonderful and the views from the porch were amazing! My only complaints are that the sheets were uncomfortable and scratchy. They need replaced. Everything else was amazing!

Great Location

Location was perfect. Walk around the corner to lifts1&2. Everything was as stated in the listing and very clean upon arrival. Deck was nice for apres and had a beautiful view. The only thing we were disappointed with was having to use Duralogs in the fire place as the owner did not allow for wood burning.

Weekend in Glacier

Rainy weekend to start turned into a sunny stay by the end of the weekend. Communication was great! Answered any questions we had. When our keypad stopped working, they brought us a master key and let us stay in an unoccupied unit while we waited. Heating was a bit tricky to figure out at first.
