NO SUNDAY CHECK INS we have built a small community of treehouse -cabin on the side of the mountain close to nickajack lake also part of the tenneessee river. we are almost a mile from interstate 24 and only around 18 minutes to downtown chattanooga. this is number 4 and it is called BARN OWL INN. we have a 3 person hot tub for relaxation after a day of exploring the area. we have asmart tv with dish network and great wifi. you have a king size bed on top floor to enjoy a good nights rest up high in the trees .
Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.

Barn Owl stay Christmas

The Barn owl tree house cabin was great!! We had so much fun at the cabin and exploring nearby Jasper and going over to Chattanooga. If our travels bring us back to this area we would stay at this property again.

Loved this property! It was the tallest of the ones around it, I didn’t know that there were multiple cabins nearby with the same owners. The wrap around deck is nice, hot tub is awesome. The only minor downside was: The lights on the outside stairway didn’t work (need to get up those steps from the hot tub) and there is no light above the bathroom mirror. (There is a bright LED light in the bathroom but nothing above the mirror) it was hard to do makeup and for husband to see for shaving. I would return, the place is nice and it is beautiful around there.

Great Stay

My husband booked this as a surprise for our wedding anniversary and I was pleasantly surprised. The cabin was perfect and very clean. It was nice to be a way from the hustle and bustle yet close enough if we wanted to head into Chattanooga. Would highly recommend.

Cozy Lakeside Cabin in the trees!

My husband and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. We were centrally located near Chattanooga and several state parks. We visited friends in Georgia, explored and chased waterfalls at Cloudland Canyon and South Cumberland State Parks , booked a tour with Chattanooga Whiskey Distillery and ate a delicious dinner at Nic & Norman’s in the historic district of Chattanooga. The cabin itself was small, cozy, and just what we need to getaway!

Amazing experience

We had an amazing experience. Great location! Only down fall is there is really no view other than trees all around you. I understand your in a treehouse so of course there are trees surrounding you but there is a lake and mountains views right beyond the trees. I don't think it would hurt to open it up a little so that when your drinking coffee or sitting out on the balcony you could enjoy the beautiful mountains and such. Other than that it was fantastic!

Great stay

We had a really nice time staying in this cabin. Check in/ out was super easy. The hot tub was the perfect size for 2 people. It was conveniently located (about 20min from Chattanooga and all the attractions). The area was beautiful. The only potential downside of this spot was all the road noise that could be heard from the highway outside the cabin.

True Tennessee Experience

It doesn’t get better than staying in a cabin on the mountain, 18 mins from Chattanooga. I loved this cabin specifically because the hot tub was out of view , and you’re the highest up! The cabin was clean, fresh.

Perfect Get Away for Two

We had a wonderful weekend at this cabin. The best thing about the cabin is the beautiful view from inside or out of the wrap around deck! So pretty. The three nearby cabins were far enough away to feel you had some privacy, though not completely. The cabin was clean and smelled really good (some wall plugins were a nice touch). The main level is small but was perfect for my husband and I. The recliners were comfortable for watching a movie and while there was a DVD player we used the smart tv to access our streaming services and watched what we wanted that way: The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and small appliances- though the oven and fridge were smaller we were able to cook a full breakfast one of our mornings and got take out from a pizza place in Jasper (12 minutes away) for our dinner and went to a nicer place in Chattanooga for a meal (20 minutes) as well. The deck has zero gravity recliners as well as a table and chair set that we used for breakfast. The hot tub had a nice view of the water and we could watch the sunset both evenings. The bed was a comfortable king and there was space for our luggage to be off the floor on luggage racks which made it easier to find things. We plan to return later this year for another weekend - probably in the fall. Highly recommend this rental!

A great place to stay!

We came for New Years and had a great time. Not too far outside of the city with a great view of the lake. I wish the shower was larger, but the intimacy of the space is part of the charm! Book this place for a romantic weekend in Chat!

Amazing Getaway

We went here for a weekend away. It was amazing! We needed some time away to rest and rejuvenate from our busy lives. It was just what we needed! Beautiful setting, an awesome location, and absolutely gorgeous treehouse.

Excited to book again!

Loved the security gate. Gave me and , Dawn peace of mind. Awesome location to be. We went to Chattanooga, easy drive. The hot tub was perfect... the only negative, the wobble whenever someone is walking. We definitely will be back. This is perfect for a couple who are out to explore and just relax... 💯👍

Very cute place but !

We have been renting cabins for years so we have an idea of what to expect ! We arrived to the property after a long day expecting to be able to get in the Hot Tub but it was not ready to use so ended up waiting a couple hours for it to heat up ! Decks were covered in tree branches and leaves - when we opened the blinds throughout the whole upper window was covered in spider webs ! We seen a couple ants the first night and killed them but went up to go to bed second night and the entire bed was covered in ants ! Management did bring some ant spray by the next morning.! On our third and last day someone treated the Hot Tub so strong we could not use it at all ! Even with all the traffic noise we thought this was a really cute place but definitely needs to be better kept !!! People come to relax and enjoy so it should at its best !

Great stay

We had an awesome time and this is our favorite cabin we've ever stayed in. My only feedback would be is to add some lamps to this location. All the lighting is very bright (not that that's a bad thing) but it was sometimes overwhelming during the night time hours.
