Welcome to 222 New Castle Street, a pet-friendly Rehoboth Beach home designed for comfortable coastal living. This lovely house offers four bedrooms and two full bathrooms and comfortably sleeps up to ten guests. With two levels of living space, a spacious three-season room, and a recently renovated ground-level bathroom, the home is well suited for families and groups vacationing together.
The ground level features two bedrooms, a full hall bathroom, a laundry room, a kitchen, and an inviting living area with dining space that seats eight. Guests will also enjoy free Wi-Fi and a private driveway with parking for approximately four cars. The second level includes two additional bedrooms and a full hall bathroom, providing ample space and privacy for everyone in your party. Rehoboth Beach is the way families and friends have vacationed for generations, and this home reflects that classic, relaxed coastal charm.
The location is exceptional and among the best in South Rehoboth. Silver Lake is just 50 yards to the west, while the beach and boardwalk are only 100 yards to the east. Downtown Rehoboth's wide variety of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options are an easy 10- to 15-minute stroll away, allowing you to enjoy everything the area has to offer without relying on your car.
Parking is available in the private driveway for approximately four vehicles. Amenities include Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, and an electronic keypad system for convenient self check-in and check-out. One dog is permitted with a pet fee. Linens are not supplied; however, a linen rental program is available for guests. This is a non-smoking property.
Please note that the VRBO service fee is charged separately by VRBO and is not imposed by the Host. As a result, your credit card will reflect two separate charges: one from VRBO for the service fee and one from the Host for the rental charges. The VRBO service fee will not appear on the Rental Agreement.

We loved the location and ample parking. The neighborhood was quiet and an easy walk to the beach. The house was well stocked. The 4 twin mattresses in the upstairs room could use an upgrade, but other than that - we truly recommend this house!

We had a terrific time with our four teenagers and their friends. Lots of bed and room for them and for family time. Perfect location close to the beach. Communication with landlord was super. Recommend.

House was further frim beach than the description lead to be. And the kitchen needs new coffee pots and utensils. None of the knives were any good. The house, otherwise, was very nice. Plenty of space for a large family. We had plenty of room. Plenty of air conditioning.

Great Beach Getaway

The house was perfect for our group-- it had everything we needed and was in a great location. It was clean and well appointed. Easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. Our only issue was that the upstairs A/C was not working when we arrived. The management company was terrific about communicating and trying to get it fixed. They dropped off window a/c units and then had them installed, so that created some relief. On the morning of the last day of our stay, the HVAC company came in to replace the unit. The owner offered to extend our stay for free because of the discomfort and hassle, which we very much appreciated, despite the fact that we could not take advantage of it. Without the a/c issue, this would have been a five-star review.

Girls Weekend

It was our annual girls weeked trip and the house did not disappoint! Living room itself is a little small but still plenty of space for everyone. 2 full baths was a major plus. Nice location as we walked to everything! Would absolutely consider staying here again!

Perfect location and great space

If you're not looking for luxury just need a nice clean large space then this is your place. This property is right in the middle of where we wanted to go. It was a short walk to get to the beach or the main Rehoboth Ave area. Very good kitchen, and dining space for a large group or family and the living room and porch area are comfortable. It is a bit older house so the 2 bath to 4 bedroom situation isn't ideal for 10 and it doesn't really have any luxury feel to it, but it suited our need very well. The only challenge we had is there truly is nothing supplied at this place. You need to bring or buy everything from dish soap, laundry detergent, trash bags and all your paper products. It was stated on the listing, but this was the first place that I've stayed that was so sparsely supplied. If you regularly use something at home, be sure to bring it with you. I didn't mark it down for that since it is listed, just hoping to warn the next renter. I'll definitely consider this place again next time.

Nice place really spread out huge sun porch. The walk to the beach is half mile so 100 yards is not even close However it is a nice walk to funland and the beach. Great place overall

Ideal beach home

The home was well cleaned. The kitchen had an abundance of pots, pans, and baking dishes. Plenty of beds and bedrooms for guests to stay. All the rooms are tastefully decorated. It suited our needs perfectly.

Nice house- 3 blocks from beach

Overall we really liked this property. The only issue we had was that they claimed a chair was missing when we left and we did not take any chairs- I appears they made a false claim to charge our property damage insurance.

Nice home in a great Rehoboth location; walk to the beach, boardwalk, and a local park/play ground. The neighborhood was very quiet and nicely shaded by large trees. Inside the home had everything we needed for a family reunion. We concluded that the on-line photos didn't do it justice! We had 5 adults and 2 infants so we weren't at capacity for our 3 night vacation. Our only issues were minor and were most likely due to the prior renter.

No A/C, poor wifi

I waited a long time to get away and the day of I’m getting of a plane from business trip to voicemail message to please call us about your rental. Long story short they called to state the AC on the first floor was not working and they can refund or offer a property outside of town (which was not acceptable). Since I planned on downtime and to finish my paper for my masters I took the rental. House is nice. Wifi goes out randomly all day long making even FaceTime with family difficult, not to mention research for my paper. The beach was nice but the rental didn’t live up to its offering and no partial refund was offered.

Good house for a big family

House was in a good location and had plenty of beds for people to stay in. Seemed to have all the amenities we needed. No toilet paper or bedding is made available which we found very odd so you need to bring your own. Sewage lines clogged up within a day so they have to bring in a plumber and cleanup crew. Inconvenient but they responded quickly to resolve the issues within a few hours.
