Welcome to the Original Shipping Container Cabin in the heart of Red River Gorge! This beautiful, unique cabin is hand crafted and fully equipped for a perfect, relaxing stay in the gorge. It has amazing views of the cliff lines out of the huge floor to ceiling windows and a view of the private fire pit.

The cabin features two bedrooms, both with king beds, and a full bathroom with walk in shower. The living room has a large leather sectional and ottoman and 55 inch television, Spectrum TV, and high speed WiFi. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, dishes, and cooking utensils. The cabin is climate controlled (Air Conditioning and Heat) and has city water. There is a covered porch with chairs to enjoy the view and relax outside even if it’s raining. Outside the cabin is a nice private patio with a fire pit, chairs, and a hot tub! The road to the cabin is paved making access to the cabin easy. The cabin is close to everything in Red River Gorge!

Amanda was a terrific host. She answered questions before the booking promptly and accurately. The cabin is perfect for touring around RRG. Secluded but pretty close to lots of attractions. It was well appointed. The hot tub and firepit were perfect for relaxing in the evening. It is the cleanest rental property I have ever been in. We will definitely return in the future!

A perfect weekend getaway for our wedding anniversary. So clean and cute. Had everything we needed. The patio is amazing. Hot tub was great. The road is close and carries quite a bit of traffic, so if something more remote is important to you, this may not be the one. Saw plenty of wildlife and enjoyed the rain on the tin roof one afternoon! Amanda was so thorough and communicated clearly and quickly.

Very quiet, relaxing, very clean, fire pit and all accessories was nice after a long day of travel, the hot tub was just right and very soothing . The t v , ac, and bed was very good. Check in and check out was easy and our hostess Amanda answered and responded very quick to my questions. Would book again

Very impressed with the “refabbed” container construction! Cool elements that reminded you that you are staying in a shipping container, yet so comfortable and relaxing! The hot tub was a hit! Bed was comfortable, and I am picky about my mattress. I would recommend adding blankets for the living room (I brought mine bc I read it). Also would recommend a better toilet paper (one ply does not insinuate intentional hospitality). But overall it was a wonderful stay.

Thank you so much for the review! I understand that one ply toilet paper is not the most favorable. I have to use it because the cabin has a sensitive septic system. We don’t have the option to connect to a city sewer because of the remote location.

Lovely cabin, and exactly as advertised. Super clean and had all of the amenities we needed. Great location, within a 20-30 minute drive to everything in Red River Gorge. Would recommend a 4WD or high-clearance vehicle, as the road to the cabin is steep and had so huge potholes/damage to avoid.
