Cozy and romantic log cabin, perfect for Smoky Mountain escape. Easily accessible, located in the woods a short walk from a crystal clear Nantahala Lake. There's plenty to do in the area. Cabin is just a short drive from the white water rafting, canoeing and kayaking venues on the Nantahala and Ocoee rivers. That's in addition to all the great activities the North Carolina Smokies have to offer.

From the beginning of booking this home to us leaving was definitely an easy transaction. The host was super sweet and quick to respond. This home accommodated 3 families with babies all under the age. It had a beautiful view and was all around an excellent place to stay. I highly recommend this home for a big family.

It was a great place to stay for a family reunion. We enjoyed porch time and also sitting around the dining room having meals together and playing many hours of Mexican Train. Hope to come again next year.

Good times

I have to say that this cabin was off the beaten path. Pretty easy to find if you follow the property manager’s directions.The driveway was fairly steep but manageable, and the parking was fine.We did really enjoy the view, and the property manager was on the spot if I had any questions.Very enjoyable, and I would go back.

Very Nice Cabin

Our stay was very nice. Cabin fit my large family very comfortably. It was lovely of the owner to have the Christmas decorations up. I would stay here again. There were a few things that I wished I knew ahead of time. There is no internet service at all at the cabin so know the WIFI log in ahead of time. There is no paperwork at cabin giving any details regarding cabin. That is unfortunate and challenging. It was stocked with essentials but pretty basic for a cabin that holds such a large group. Also I wouldn't really list the gas grill as an item. We brought Carne Asada and the grill wasn't really set up to cook in a timely manor so we had to eat in shifts. None of it was a deal breaker the cabin was just a little more rustic then I expected. Driveway is STEP. Drive past house there will be and area to turn around and will allow you to go up drive way easier.

Great time in the mountains!

We had a wonderful stay in the mountains! The leaves were changing and we couldn't have asked to spend it in a better place. Loved the mornings in the hot tub. The pool table was a lot of fun in the evenings as well. Just a note, the third floor is a loft with two king beds. Wasn't an issue for us but the pictures made it seem like those were two separate bedrooms. Also, coffee is k-cup only with no carafe option (not a big issue, just something for future guests to know as they pack).

Great location

Nice layout with 4 king size beds, 3 bathrooms, and a roomy kitchen. Be aware there is a steep driveway up to the house. Only a 10 minute walk to lake Nantahala and 20 minute drive to lakes end marina where you can rent pontoon boats, kayaks, etc. as well as dine at the restaurant.

Perfect location

The location of this property is just perfect, very quiet too. The property was clean but need some updates. Other than that, perfect!!!

Cabin was great will bring more family next time.

It was fantastic for us and our dog. Great trail to walk her beside property. Granddaughters had a ball. Slept great at night. Plenty of room for all of us.
