Merci de vous ĂȘtre arrĂȘtĂ©! Peut-ĂȘtre cela est ce que vous cherchez: un endroit abordable pour votre petite famille pour Ă©chapper Ă  la chaleur et profiter d'un lac de montagne vierge, automne escapade d'un couple calme et magnifique, un endroit pour pĂȘcher, nager, explorer. Vous nous avez trouvĂ©!

Notre chalet est pas de fantaisie ou Ă©norme. Il est confortable, propre et juste sur le lac Nantahala, un des lacs les plus hauts et les plus propres aux États-Unis de l'Est Nous avons achetĂ© il ya des annĂ©es comme un chalet idĂ©al pour Ă©chapper Ă  l'agitation de Atlanta. Maintenant, nous voulons partager avec vous.

Nous avons pas de tables de billard ou des bacs ou wii chauds de. Nous avons un grand quai privĂ©, des livres, des vidĂ©os, et un endroit pour tout simplement vous dĂ©tendre sans toutes les distractions habituelles de la maison. Nager de notre quai privĂ©. (Apportez votre matĂ©riel renverser ... je vois gĂ©nĂ©ralement du poisson quand je Snorkle autour de notre station d'accueil ... l'eau est limpide) Apportez votre bateau (rampe est Ă  2 minutes) ou en louer un Ă  partir Lacs End Marina (ou utilisez notre canot) . Les enfants adorent notre quai, les nombreux cours d'eau Ă  patauger dans et lieux de randonnĂ©e et d'explorer (nous sommes pratiquement entourĂ©s par la forĂȘt nationale de Nantahala). Les parents aiment le calme, notre collection de livres et de films, et le fait que votre tĂ©lĂ©phone cellulaire ne fonctionne pas ici! Il ya d'excellents restaurants Ă  20 minutes en voiture (ou monter votre bateau sur l'eau pour End Grill du lac), un Super Walmart Murphy (35 minutes) pour les fournitures, des sentiers de randonnĂ©e tout autour de (l'Appalachian Trail est Ă  20 minutes), en eau vive rafting Ă  proximitĂ©, et beaucoup d'endroits pour se promener. Nous ne sommes pas Disney World. Nous sommes trĂšs heureux d'ĂȘtre «tout naturel».

We had a great time at the cottage! The private dock was perfect for swimming and just hanging out at the lake. The cottage itself is as advertised and "off the grid" so to speak. It was nice to not have the phones distracting us from our vacation.

Curt was a very attentive host and provided nice information about nearby eats and hikes. A kitchen spruce-up could boost the cleanliness feel—shelf liner could go a long way in the cabinets and pantry! There is no WiFi-cell service which is noted. Lots of books on site and a really fun DVD collection available. We ventured out during the day and made sure to be back before dark to enjoy dinner and a double feature. Rounding out the adventure—a landline! Loved being disconnected but appreciated the landline for the teen and dogs we left home. The lake was very quiet this time of year.

We love Grace Cottage and have stayed here many times. We had a great time swimming and fishing from the dock., caught some nice bluegill and bass. It's a quiet area as ever and time always slows down when we get there. Superb DVD collection with cabin classics like 'a river runs through it', Patch Adams and basically all the Studio Ghibli movies too. Long live Grace Cottage!! We'll be back.

Lovely getaway9

We had a lovely time at this lakeside cabin for a short honeymoon. A perfect getaway spot. The water was clean and cool, and the back porch was a perfect place to enjoy mornings and evenings. The cabin is clean and well cared for. We hope to come back again in the future.

Quiet and cozy

Overall stay was good, but there were some things that could have been better described in the listing. The parking was very tight for two SUV’s, no cable (but a remote with cable cords in tv), the cottage could have been a.little cleaner around the outside. Overall we had a nice time, and the bed was very comfortable.

Great mountain retreat

Cottage was perfect,lake was refreshing and curt was super easy to deal with. We had everything we needed at the cottage for our stay games, puzzles, movies! Would definitely recommend this cottage!!

Time away from heat

The house was remodeled and the bed was very comfortable. The stairs to lake was quite overwhelming but great dock when you get there. Had all that we needed, the owner has great artist on display. Loved our stay.

This cabin makes for a perfect retreat to lovely Lake Nantahala! It’s a well-loved place and no frills but had everything you need. Highlights include close proximity to the lake with a great little dock (perfect for hanging out), the very comfy beds, lake view from the deck, and the excellent water pressure in the shower. Very quiet neighborhood and lake. Curt was very nice and called to check in. The furniture and dishes could use updating but we also appreciate that it’s a pet friendly place. The skates down to the lake are very steep and can be slick during and after rain so this wouldn’t be the ideal spot for folks with mobility issues or young kids. It wasn’t an issue for us but important to note. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!

A great getaway

The cabin is situated on a beautiful section of the lake. We enjoyed the views and the quiet. Unfortunately my wife has recently had knee surgery so she was unable to walk down the stairs to the dock. We should have checked prior to us going. Curt is a wonderful host and we appreciate his hospitality. I highly recommend this cabin for a quiet and relaxing weekend.

Great stay

We enjoyed our time at this little piece of paradise on the mountain lake. From sitting on the porch staring at the lake, taking a paddle out in the canoe, or grilling some dinner on the porch....relaxation was easy here and it was nice to get away from the hectic city life. We appreciate it Curt and hope to be back in the future! hectic life of the city

Book now, and then a few more times!

We so thoroughly loved this cabin! We swam in the lake, paddled to an island and jumped from a rope swing, hiked nearby trails, and enjoyed wildlife on the property in the early morning (a mama deer and two babies, rabbits, and lots of birds and butterflies!). The bed was comfortable, the amenaties were lovely, and you couldnt beat the access to the lake. Overall, a fantastic stay and we only wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing place to relax

We’ve stayed at Grace cottage twice now, once in the spring and once in the fall, and it’s always a wonderful place to relax. It’s private, clean and comfortable, and we cook all our meals there so we don’t even have to leave until time to go home. The lake is beautiful and not very busy, and the views of the surrounding mountains are amazing. We can’t wait to go back.

Heaven on earth

Great owner, well stocked.

Property was as advertised and well stocked. Property was gorgeous. The only minor negative would be the steep path down to the lake as my son took a bit of a tumble down trying to get to the lake too fast. Overall the cottage was a great spot for some relaxation and family time.
