Visit was short but nice - great place to stay

The house has everything you need (except bring your own coffee - and you can bring Keurig pods - I didn't know that and went 4 days without coffee). Beds were comfy and the kitchen well stocked. Only comment I have is that the rug in family room could use a steam clean as I could tell dogs have been there. The view is beautiful, the deck is nice and I could look out to the water for hours (although in the summer it might get hot since there is no overhang for cover). You have your own private beach and neighbors were really nice and enjoying their time too. I felt very safe being there alone.

Great location

The house location is great. Needs a facelift because it’s dated. Need lights outside and need better management of towels, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent. No beach towels provided. Kitchen supplies need to updated and remove rusted supplies.

Great quiet location right on the gulf

Dated house and furnishings but great location at dead-end of road so only turn around traffic. Big plus was it had an ice machine. Some burners on the stove don't work and the internet was horrible 1.3mb - less than a cell phone and at times that didn't work either. Floors were sandy upon arrival. OK but needs updates.

Beautiful

Stay was perfect, with the exception of not having the correct code at check in. We had to call the after hours number and their code didn't work either, so we had to wait for a call back. We received a call back within about 5 monutes with a code that worked. The rest of our stay went well.

Great location

This house has a great location as not many places allow dogs on the beach. This place does. The managers are wonderful. I needed a new vacuum and a new one was delivered. The house is very comfortable and well appointed with kitchen items. The house was clean except for the floors which needed a good vacuuming. The sunsets and views were amazing. The only disappointment was a sign that would not let you use the fireplace. The temperature was 22 degrees and that would have been nice to have. Everything worked in the home and I would stay here again.

Great private location

This house is in a great part of Gulf Shores if you want to have the beach basically to yourselves. The walk out basically let’s you walk straight over a little sand dune then onto the beach. The house was nice and roomy, beds were comfy and had appropriate bedding there with some extras. The house definitely wasn’t as clean as I would’ve hoped. My daughters feet were black after walking through the house barefoot for about an hour. Also didn’t provide really any supplies. Not expecting a lot, but would be nice to provide a few trash bags, some dishwasher pods, etc if you’re spending $3000+ on a multi night trip. Overall was a good trip though.

One sliding door will not lock... there are 5 televisions........only one works need to replace stove overhead light some window blinds need to be replaced......missing slats lights in covered parking do not work at all. dark

Nice quite getaway

Enjoyed the location and private section of the beach, no crowds or people Closest on beach were a hundred yards away. Will stay here again enjoyed the location and house. Much better than high rise condos and crowded beaches

Patty House Delight

Upon arrival we were pleased with the ease of access, cleanliness and beautiful layout. The Patty House is an ideal location on the beach at the end of the housing community nestled in a perfect location for privacy and ideal access to the beach in a low populated area. We had all the amenities necessary for an ideal vacation that leant itself to relaxation, convenience and a superb environment to enjoy. Driving in to town was a breeze and we strongly suggest eating at the Oyster House. We will return next year for sure!

Patty House

Perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of town but not too far of a drive to restaurant's and zoo! House is a great size and fit our party perfectly! Our only complaints were the shower heads and not being able to change the water flow! If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing spot the Patty House is great! Ic maker is an extra bonus!

Great place, just needs some TLC

Firstly, we had a great stay even though we left a day early due to Hurricane Ida. Great house, great location. For the pricepoint you are charging for a week stat, one would expect things not to be so run down. Pictures are bery deceiving as everything is old, torn, used, and kinda sad that owners would let get in such disrepair. Also, i called the management company 3 different times during our stay for different issues and not one of my calls were ever returned. So overall great stay, would be great if house was updated and management Company were engaged.

Great private location

This house is located on a part of the beach that we assume won't be there forever, with storms and sea level rising. Many properties on the strip before getting there have dumpsters in front of them and people are trying to repair storm damage. I mention this because if I owned this place, it would be difficult to justify putting a lot more money into it. The place is great for a family get-together, as far as 2 master bedrooms with king beds and beach view, and a huge common space. The full-sized ice maker in the laundry room is a great feature. The beach view and access were wonderful. The place is well maintained, but you can see that some of the handy work may not be up to par of what people expect....it must be extremely difficult to find someone to do work. We would rent this place again, especially with a large group and with pets.

Great beach getaway

The property was on the end of a road that dead ends into a nice gated community, so it was pretty private and not alot of traffic. The house was perfect for my husband and I and two toddlers and another couple and their toddler and baby. Two rooms on each side of the house provided our families with privacy! The house was pretty clean but not updated in years it appeared, and the floors were grungy and not sure of some of the bed spreads were clean. The balcony was a little dangerous for babies and small children because the rails had too much space between them that they could definitely squeeze through and fall. It had great amenities and kitchen gear, even an ice machine. Overall we had a wonderful stay there!

Great View!

Absolutely amazing view! We loved it. My children enjoyed the private beach. It was not crowed and they were the only children around. We had plenty of pillows, bed was super comfortable, and tons of extra blankets. We loved the shower at the bottom of the stairs. They also have an amazing ice machine. My only complaint, was you can't watch TV in all the rooms at once - It gives you an error saying to many devices are being watched. Honestly it was no biggie though! Also, be prepared to go shopping before you arrive. No one really delivers food there and it'skinda far from everything. Overall though we had an amazing experience!
