Island Property: RENTERS MUST HAVE OWN BOAT TO ACCESS.
Lovely Home with large deck and beautiful Views of the Lake. The house is on Big Barndoor Island on the Leeward side. Calm water and great fishing in front of the dock. Our house sleeps eight comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms, one full bath and a half bath on the first floor, The second floor has a half bath between the master and the loft. The loft has a king size bed and an additional bedroom with bunk bed and queen. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials for your stay, along with linens and towels,. At the water there is a dock that can accommodate 1 boat up to 26’or two smaller boats. There is a firepit to relax and enjoy the views. The island is a very short 10 minute ride to Wolfboro. We are looking to rent from Saturday to Saturday throughout the season.

A wonderful home with a perfect location! Comfortable furniture and bedrooms. Our host was very accommodating and we will be returning regularly. Air conditioning was a super improvement!

Paradise Island

Gorgeous island home with all of the amenities. Perfect for families who want to enjoy all that the lake has to offer with the most comfortable and perfect home! Do not hesitate on this one!

Amazing Everything

This is our second year here and we are looking forward to many more. Home is beautiful and location perfect, Craig and Sheila are the best! We are lucky that they allow their home to be experienced by others, it’s truly special.

Absolutely wonderful!

Had a wonderful stay. Perfect spot for a vacation. Everything was perfect. The house was beautiful, the dock was great, enjoyed the fire pit and loved the views from the deck and walking trails. Overall an amazing time!

Wonderful family memories

We had a lovely 2 weeks at this charming house on the island! Craig and Sheila were wonderful to work with and truly care that you have a great vacation. We had a glitch with the water in the middle of our stay and Craig had someone out to fix it the very next morning.. The house is located in the perfect spot; a short boat ride to Wolfboro and a bit sheltered. The house is well stocked (especially linens) and was plenty comfortable for all of us. We had planned to eat out often, but with the view from the deck, decided to stay home for many of our meals. When we did go out, we enjoyed eating at Garwoods for dinner and the diner for breakfast. Both places are in Wolfboro. We spent every day just reading, fishing, swimming, and relaxing. Overall, it was a very relaxing and peaceful vacation and we would highly recommend renting this house. We hope to return one day!

Great spot on the lake, very peaceful, great neighbors and incredible sunrises. House had everything we needed without question. Craig is extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. We will be back for certain.

Lake Winnipesaukee’s Hidden Gem

The house was very clean upon arrival. The house is in a convenient location and only a short boat ride from Wolfeboro. The island was peaceful and quiet. When I reached out to the owners for questions they were very responsive and friendly.

Serene location with breathtaking views

The property was a very short boat ride from the Wolfeboro town docks. The cabin is a great size with plenty of space. We had a great time relaxing on the deck, in the hammock, swimming and taking the kids on the boat tubing. The only negative I can remember about the trip was how hot the 2nd floor got. We did, however, travel during a scorcher of a week. The property could use some minor repairs, but the fact that it was well stocked, in a great location and the owners were super fast in responding and extremely friendly, even their neighbor was friendly and welcoming, more than out weighbthe minor negatives. The kids had a great time, we bonded as a family and made amazing memories.
