Everything is exactly as listed and wonderful with the exception of the creek bed being dry which I can’t begrudge since we had perfect, cloudless weather. The whole place is clean and comfortable with everything you need to make a great stay. The hosts were very pleasant to speak to and communicated with us promptly. The property is a fantastic distance from local hot spots and the lake.

Its location was ideal, offering both tranquility and convenience. What truly set this stay apart was the genuine hospitality of the owner, whose attentiveness and care ensured every detail of our visit was memorable.Tree Top Resort has become a special place for our family, and we look forward to returning soon to create even more cherished memories in this beautiful woodland haven.

Independence day vacation

Luxurious comfort! The cabin was wonderful and we all enjoyed the many amenities, the hot tub, the firepit, the comfy couches, the most comfiest beds and all the outdoor seating. We enjoyed the area but coming back to the cabin was always highly anticipated.

Impromptu Family Getaway

Beautiful spot for a last minute trip to get outta Dallas. Cabin was comfortable and had all the amenities needed (and then some) for our visit. We enjoyed having the fire pit for hotdogs and smores (wood is very kindly provided, however, be prepared to walk some down to the firepit). We used the jacuzzi every night after the long days of hiking, biking, and fishing.Suggestion to first time BB / Hochatown visitors: bring your own food for at least a few meals. Closest grocery store is 15-20 minutes away and underwhelming. Restaurants are few, fill up quickly, and close early.

Cozy winter wonderland!

The cabin was the perfect size and location for our stay. We got lucky with almost a foot of snow during our weekend getaway! This was the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever had at a rental. The fireplace and hot tub were perfect additions to our stay. The owners were very responsive throughout the stay.

Everything was absolutely perfect for our family’s stay. Beautiful property and fantastic location. We loved the Christmas decorations which were the best touch for our stay over Christmas. Highly recommend, and we would love to come back again!

Cabin Retreat

Such a beautiful property with all the amenities for a nice cabin get away. The kids ages 3-10 had a great time playing on the swings and slide. Perfect bonfire with comfortable seating to enjoy the night sky and making smores. Hot tub was amazing, clean and a great way to wind down for the night. The cabin was beautiful and we loved getting in the Christmas spirit with the warm fireplace and cute decor. Plenty of fun things to do if you all decide to stay at the cabin without touring the local attractions. Easy and clear communication from the host! Overall a very enjoyable stay and looking forward to returning.

Beautiful and comfortable

We had a great time at this cabin. It has everything you need to make your stay cozy. We loved the long deck that extends all the way to a play area. The location is very good too. We'll definitely be back!

Fall break

We had a wonderful time for our fall break staying at the treetop resort. The house was great. The property was amazing. Our boys had a blast, making fires sitting outside playing sardines going in the hot tub making a s'mores and Fly Fishing. The home was neat and clean, but also rustic, making us feel like we were staying in a cabin in the woods. Thankful for generous house to allow us to stay in their home with our dog who enjoyed herself immensely. Hope to come back soon.

We purchased The Treetop Retreat in 2021 as a family retreat to enjoy for generations to come. We enjoy sharing our happy place with others and hearing about the many great family memories made in our cabin.

We personally manage our cabin so we can be assured that each and every guest gets undivided personalized attention. You are our priority!

We are on a natural migratory path for deer, so we get lots of furry critters passing through, which we can't get enough of.
