Lake It Easy on Lake McQueeney

Welcome to our little slice of heaven nestled on one of the quietest locations on Lake McQueeney with a lot of space to run around, sit on the dock, chase fireflies and make memories with plenty of shade to stay cool as well. *As of March 2023, the McQueeney lake 💦 level was lowered due to repairs 🏗️ on the dam. The water by our shoreline is pretty shallow, but across the river the depth increases so kayaks and canoes can still be used to enjoy some fun in the sun! We've updated some of our pictures to reflect the present water levels. There is still plenty of water fun to be had as the water level is perfect for your littles to walk out in the water or stay on the rocks & go fishing. It’s also perfect for clam shell hunting, finding those special heart ❤️ shaped rocks or just putting your outdoor chair right in the water.

“Lake It Easy” offers a 5 bedroom, 4 bath getaway that can accommodate all of your vacation needs. Just 15-20 minutes from New Braunfels, Seguin & Gruene Tx. & close to many great restaurants, Schlitterbahn, Wurstfest and lots of shopping. The property is also near San Antonio, about 40 min. away, and only an hour from Austin TX.

The kitchen and living room are the central focus of the main level. The kitchen provides plenty of space to prepare meals and memories. Lots of cabinet space, ample size pantry, an island to serve up your favorite eats and a bar top to enjoy even more seating. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need to prepare & cook food.

The living room and dining area are open to the kitchen allowing for large gatherings or smaller more quaint ones as well. There are large smart TVs in the living room and on the downstairs patio allowing for enjoyable indoor or outdoor movie nights or simply listening to your favorite tunes on Spotify! Lots of seating lets you stay connected while you disconnect.

Just off the kitchen and dining area is a deck where you have amazing views of the water, grazing deer across from the property & ducks cruising up and down the river. Be sure to enjoy your coffee first thing in the morning from the outdoor seating area on the deck as the sun rises in perfect view. You’ll also enjoy creating your BBQ specialties on one of the grills.

The master bedroom, with a king-sized bed and a fold out couch, is located just off the kitchen. You’ll be able relax in comfort in this oversized room with an amazing view of the lake. The master also offers a large master bath with a standup shower & a separate large tub. Two other bedrooms are also on the main floor. Both have queen beds & one with a couch bed that offer a great night’s sleep.

Upstairs has a bunk room and one other bedroom. The bunk room has 4 twin beds, two of which have trundle beds. A great place to get all the kids settled in their own room. The other upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and single bed. The top floor also has a bathroom with a shower.

But the focus of the property is the back yard! A large open space that has a fire pit as mentioned earlier, surrounded with Adirondack chairs, perfect for great conversation and lots of laughs.

There is ample space to enjoy a friendly game of spike-ball or corn hole, both of which are available for your use.

On the ground level you’ll find a covered sitting area that has two picnic tables, a ping pong table & a large screen TV. You won’t lack for things to do even if it rains!
