Ce charmant chalet a une vue incroyable avec une grande terrasse assise sur les dunes, surplombant l'océan Atlantique. Pas de longue allée à la plage ... entrez simplement dans le sable depuis le pont. Imprégnez-vous de la beauté de la création de Dieu en respirant les images et les sons des vagues.

Laissez le beau lever de soleil vous envelopper pendant que vous sirotez votre café du matin. Le soir, aprÚs une promenade le long de la plage, étendez une couverture et regardez les étoiles tandis que les vagues éclaboussent à cÎté de vous. C'est rajeunissant pour votre corps et votre ùme!

Ceci est une retraite spéciale. Nous l'appelons notre oasis insulaire. Nous avons profité de nombreuses vacances ici et espérons que vous le trouverez aussi invitant que nous.

Nous avons constatĂ© que peu importe oĂč nous voyageons, nous aspirons Ă  notre oasis insulaire. Pendant toutes les annĂ©es que nous avons passĂ©es ici, nous continuons Ă  dĂ©couvrir des choses nouvelles et passionnantes Ă  faire.
Des promenades en calÚche le long des rues pavées du centre-ville de Fernandina aux excursions en Segway à travers les parcs nationaux aux excursions d'une journée au zoo de Jacksonville ou à l'ßle Cumberland, il existe de nombreuses activités pour vous occuper. Il semble que nous préférions retourner au Little Cottage in the Dunes.

Quiet and Relaxing Experience

Our 5th stay at Amy’s Cottage by the Sea. The view of the ocean and dunes is awesome, even on the rare rainy day. The Cottage is clean and cozy and the location is unbeatable. With easy access to restaurants , the greenway and downtown shops. Our absolute favorite place to stay in Fernandina.

I felt there was too much email, texting. Most rentals come with a notebook giving details about use of tvs or funky light switches, restaurants, etc. this would have made many of the texts unnecessary. Perhaps others prefer frequent texts. I prefer to unplug on vacation. It was a lovely spot. Thanks.

Perfect beach getaway

Perfect place for a small families beach vacation 3rd year staying here home is always clean and owner includes all of the conveniences of home.Home is right on the beach and its in a beautiful family friendly area. We have never had one single problem or complant. Highly recommend!

Great little beach cottage!

A quick stay during The Amelia Car Weekend with my family, and couldn't be happier with this little gem. Amy was super helpful and it is in the most prime area you could be!

Fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful two weeks at Amy’s property. We loved being right on the beach and seeing the sunrises every morning. The house is very well equipped, and Amy was very responsive. This is our new favorite rental on Amelia Island!

Perfect getaway

My friend and I come each year to the cottage for a relaxing getaway, and we’re about to book our third stay! The interior is spotless and well appointed, and it’s just steps away from the ocean. We only left one time during our week stay! Can’t wait to go back.

Great place for our family of 4!

This was the perfect house for our family. It was situated right on the beach with a big deck to look at the beautiful ocean! We could walk to a few restaurants and it’s a quick drive to the downtown area. We loved it here!

You can't beat Amy's place in terms of being located right on a beautiful beach, convenient to town and restaurants, clean, well-equipped, and very well-managed. This is definitely our favorite place, and we have traveled the world over.

Christmas 2024

It was a cozy cottage and it was a perfect getaway. We were able to immediately put our toes in the sand after stepping off the porch and do easy bike rides to ft clinch and egans greenway. It’s a quick drive to the center of Fernandina or Jacksonville. It was a wonderful week.

Beautiful Beachside cottage

This was a great find right on the beach. Home was well appointed with all the necessities and then some. It is right on the beach with its own deck where you can watch and listen to the breaking waves. Everything you need is for a pleasant stay is right there. Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We have vacationed on Amelia Island since I was a child. After I had children, we continued to visit Amelia Island. At some point we decided to visit other beaches. My children begged to go back to Amelia Island! We have always enjoyed searching for sharks' teeth, collecting seashells, biking downtown for ice-cream, feeding the birds.....Amelia Island is the place we long to be!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We fell in love with this property because of this little cottage. When I saw the unbelievable view of the ocean from inside the cottage, I started to cry. (And my husband knew it was a 'done deal'!) Our cottage has so much charm and character! It was built years ago, before the building setbacks were put in place. The location of our cottage is right on the sand! You just can't get any closer to the water! I think Amelia Island is special because it is not too commercialized. When you drive onto the island, you immediately feel the slower pace, the relaxed feel of the island! The main beach street has some new construction, but it also has a nice mix of old beach cottages that have been in families for years! It really adds a lot of character to the island. If you visit the downtown, you feel as though you have stepped back in time. Families are strolling along the sidewalks and peeking into charming shops, locally owned bookstores, and coffee shops. You can't leave downtown without a taste of ice-cream or homemade fudge from the Fantastic Fudge Shop!
