Enjoy a secluded, mountain cabin experience without sacrificing modern amenities. Our reviews say it all! This relaxing getaway in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains offers a sheltered hot tub, 60 game multicade and high speed Wi-Fi. After a day of hiking in the nearby Smoky Mountains you can roast marshmallows in the outdoor firepit or watch one of the 3 smart TVs (bring your own subscription service). After visiting Gatlinburg, Dollywood and all the attractions, relax in the rocking chairs on the front porch. We offer 2 ensuites (one King and one Queen with super comfortable mattresses) and the sofa in the living room doubles as a Queen bed. You will have a fully stocked kitchen, charcoal grill and the perfect place to make your own Smoky Mountain memories.

Perfect cabin for a quick getaway for my family of 4. Clean and comfy. The upstairs shower/bath combo has great water pressure and plenty of room. The downstairs shower is small with not as much water pressure but both are good. Beds are very comfy in my opinion. Very close to Margarita Island, Dollywood and other attractions. The directions are great except you can not see the number from the initial turn. We would stay again if we visit the area in the future.

This is a cozy little cabin that's very secluded and peaceful. My husband and I stayed for a week for our wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the attractions then coming back to the cabin and soaking in the hot tub. Lisa was a wonderful host who made sure we were well taken care of. I would advise arriving during the daylight hours your first time here due to the back mountain roads, especially if you're not use to that kind of driving.Overall, the cabin was a nice place to stay.

Everything about this cabin was perfect for our honeymoon stay, mostly secluded as stated and can’t really be seen from the other cabin it shares a driveway with. There was maybe one or two minor, and I mean the most minor issues, which genuinely didn’t affect our stay one bit. Like one of the doors had a small crack in the frame but still shut and locked perfectly fine. The hot tub on the back deck, and jacuzzi tub in the bathroom both added an extra level of romance for my wife and I’s honeymoon stay. And most of all, the host Lisa is genuinely so kind and answers very attentively and quickly. Would definitely recommend this host and cabin. We will definitely be back.

The host was wonderful, however,the cabin needs some updating. The hot tub jets did not work very good, batteries in the remote for the ceiling fan upstairs were dead so it was miserable Hot and unbearable. The driveway is a steep incline. The couch is very beat down and was not very comfortable. The jets in the master bathtub didnt work too good. The beds were hard and everyone woke up with sore backs but the cabin was very well stocked and had everything you could need and was close to all the local shopping stores and attractions. I was hoping to see some bears near the cabin but didnt. The cool part is the cabin is at the top of a mountain and was very clean and welcoming.

Thanks for your feedback. We're glad you found the cabin clean, welcoming, well stocked, and conveniently located. We receive many compliments on our mattresses but I understand 1 size doesn’t fit all. I apologize for the remote batteries. They have been replaced. We leave the thermostat unlocked so guests can control the temperature and stay cool.

Lisa and Dave combined a longtime interest in the Smoky Mountains and in real estate by investing in Summerhaus in early 2021. Living in neighboring NC means they are close enough to be hands on managers, along with their great local team.

Summerhaus is close to the all the attractions, while feeling secluded and private. You will get the flavor of the Smoky Mountains driving some hilly roads to the cabin, but can still make the drive in any vehicle during normal conditions.
