Secluded cabin in the peaceful Shagbark community of 1300 acres with about170 cabins scattered on large forested lots off Wears Valley Road at the Pigeon Forge city limits. Anjo's Hideaway has a tankless hot water hot tub free Wi-Fi and EV charging. n nThis secluded 2 king bedroom cabin is the perfect getaway you have been needing. Whether it is the weekend or a honeymoon this secluded cabin offers the finest Smoky Mountain experience. You can relax in the hot tub or gaze at the breathtaking views of the Smokies while enjoying the gas fireplace and comfortable great room. nYou will find both Keurig and Mr. Coffee style coffee pots some k-cup pods in different flavors sugar and sweetener packets also some snacks to start your stay. There is a basket of beach towels for the hot tub hand pump soap at each sink small soap packages paper towels. 2 new toilet paper in each bathroom dish soap and dishwasher pods. nThe Shagbark Community has a 24/7 manned security gate with a texting system to keep guests aware of safety and helpful community information. You will find 2 common areas available to you at no cost. The meadow pavilion area by the creek has walking trail dog park playground Frisby golf tether ball pavilion with picnic tables and a small putting green. Further along N. Clear Fork past the Community Center is the Shagbark swimming pool and large court with tennis pickle ball corn hole and basketball with equipment provided. nm. This place was absolutely beautiful! Everything was so clean and well organized. The host was very friendly and was quick to respond when we called. There were games supplied for a fun night in with the family. The view was breath taking from the patio area and watching the sunrise from inside on the couch was wonderful! Only 20 minutes away from down town made it the perfect spot. We enjoyed our anniversary and my birthday weekend! Will definitely stay here again!

The host seems like a nice lady however I am beyond disappointed, a complete waste of money.I really deserve at least half back I mean DIRTY Dusty stains on the furniture dusty and I got bit up and then the worst thing ever we discovered bed bugs took a video sent to host I don’t know what I was expecting but I sent her the video and explained we just threw ALL our stuff away and remind you this was my birthday trip so I just got certain things including my luggage I was to afraid the bugs would come with me. She never responded besides asking me what room were they in so she can call pest control so she probably go keep that same furniture and beds

Great cabin in the secluded mountains

Great secluded cabin atop the Smokey mountains. Location is ideal! True wilderness experience for our family. Outside of cabin is rustic; interior is very clean.

Great Cabin, Great Trip

Anjo's Hideaway was the perfect spot for us to spend our week off. The cabin was situated on the side of a mountain, and the roads leading to it were very steep, but it made for excellent views and a quiet stay.

Not a 2 bedroom

The views were great and there was plenty of deck seating. The cabin was located in a gated community down a long narrow road. We were in a F350 dually and it required a couple of 2 point turns. Doable but I wouldn't want to try it after dark. My biggest disappointment was the 2nd "bedroom". It was a loft room opened to the downstairs area.

Weekend Getaway

Our stay was wonderful. The communication with Cathy was easy. We had an issue with the fireplace not working and she was out to assess and had a service man there within 30 minutes and it was fixed within the same hour. The communication from Shagbark regarding the incoming weather was very informative. The roads up the mountain can be challenging (which is to be expected traveling UP A MOUNTAIN!), but just make sure you follow Cathy's directions and you will be fine. Take it slow. Traveling up the mountain in daylight your first time up is recommended. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!!

Wonderful cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was wonderful! Views were great! Highly recommend! Host Sarah was very accommodating. We were evacuated at 1am our first night, due to a wildfire near the cabin, Sarah helped find us a close hotel for the night and kept us updated. However we are still waiting for the hotel refund, that she offered, hopefully that comes through! We were able to return the next day!

VERY DISAPPOINTED

I want to preface this review by say that we are not a high fallooting family that expects a Ritz experience when staying in a cabin, but this place was a total let down and waste of a lot of money. We arrived at night and struggled getting to the cabin on the treacherous roads leading up to the cabin. When we arrived there was only one dim light illuminating the parking area and I almost broke my ankle trying to bring in our luggage in the lack of lighting. Honestly the cabin looked like no one had stayed there in a while. There were cobwebs had a layer of dust. The living room furniture looked like something out of a frat house. There was dust everywhere and the ceiling in the kitchen was covered in dust. The downstairs bedroom had disgusting sheets that had dark spots. I always joke with my wife for bringing sheets from our house when we travel but this time I was so glad she did. The deck furniture looked like it was 20 + years old and would collapse upon trying to sit in it. Long story short, we all decided it was best to leave a night early so we could sleep in our own beds and not feel disgusting. This cabin has potential with just a little TLC. The views was truly amazing but not worth the price.

Big Hassle Look-Out

This is one to be cautious about. Cabin location is very steep, small parking area. Inside was dated except for bathrooms. Furniture has many stains, need replacing, tvs good, kitchen good. The place needs a good cleaning. Deck was nice and hot-tub worked good.

Disgusting

This was my birthday getaway it was ruined by staying at this place. It was the most disgusting dirty place. I have ever been the inside look like it was abandoned, and nobody had been to the property. There was dust everywhere there was mildew everywhere. The Jacuzzi was slimy. We had to rewash every dish there was no cleaning supplies or products. This was horrible and I want my money back.

Bears in the cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was beautiful! Unfortunately, when we arrived back after being gone for the day, 3 bears made their way into the cabin through the sliding glass door that had a sticker on there, do not use. Which we hadn’t touched. A friend of the person that was in charge of helping rent out the place, came to the rescue and helped me and the friend put the door back on. It wasn’t secure so we didn’t want to stay. They did accommodate us by putting us in two different places the next two nights, however, the view and stay were not equal to what I had rented and paid for. I know things happen that are out of our control, however, it would have been nice to get some of our money back or 1 or 2 nights stay when we were able to come back, comped. Again, we do appreciate the help that they were able to give us.

Family time

The property was very clean. A little difficult to locate after going through the gate. My GPS was actually accurate in helping us find it. Very peaceful other than a new cabin being built at the bottom of the drive. The workers enjoyed playing music and singing loudly.

Amazing!

The cabin is fantastic! We had the best, most relaxing, trip ever. We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace and amenities. The beds are comfortable and the atmosphere is so relaxing. The Mountain View is wonderful! I am re-booking this cabin for my future stay in December right now!
