It was super clean and a great space. It was nice to walk around the property and meet the chickens. Just when you're arriving to look out for the chicken eggs sign, cause if it weren't for that I would have driven past it.

The carriage house is a perfect little 1 bedroom appartment with an extremely well stocked kitchen, a large tv (it was WC when we visited) and everything was very clean.Sarah and Randy are very welcoming and nice, and Sarge is just wonderful. He is such a sweet dog. Thank you for letting me rent it with my daughter, we had a few wonderful days.

I didn't want to leave! The drive there took me through the Valley Forge Memorial which set the mood and the property felt like an extension. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the carriage house was stunning. Sarah was always available and incredibly responsive. The bedroom was great, the king sized bed was incredibly comfortable, warm comforter, had a charging station next to the bed, lots of cable channels. Living area was also well furnished, had a fully equipped kitchen and as advertised, there were chickens and sheep on the massive property. And bring a treat for Sarge. He will greet you, will inspect your car, won't object to treats and scratches. You won't regret your stay here!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Carriage House. The property was peaceful and I felt really safe knowing there was a cute beagle keeping small animals away at night. Parking was fine and had enough space for at least two cars (I had a guest with a large vehicle). I wanted a quiet spot to enjoy Valley Forge for the hiking, mediums in the area, and also enjoy some much needed rest crocheting and painting after constant catering orders for weddings and parties. Sarah and Randy were so attentive and I love how their home was in a nice spot in the woods. I did try some of the chicken eggs which were also great! The cabinets in the carriage house were stocked for what I needed and we weren’t too far from the expo Center or other local attractions.Sarge was the best little concierge! He welcomed me as Sarah said he would and he even greeted me when I was leaving! He the sheep, and the house was exactly what I needed to unwind. Sarah thank you for a much needed vacation and I’ll definitely be back after the holidays! Thank you again!

Stayed at the Carriage House for its proximity to Valley Forge National Historic Site. Definitely the right call as it was minutes away from the park, very convenient to lots of excellent restaurants, and other amenities, yet had a quiet rural feel. Absolutely wonderful! The accommodation was very clean, well appointed, and beautifully decorated. Modern with just enough character for a couple of history, nerds! While we don’t travel with a pet, things were well set up to accommodate on animal. The resident Beagle, Sarge, was a welcome, surprise and very friendly! We were very comfortable and impressed by the facilities and supplies available in the lodging. The host was very helpful and communications were great. It was a wonderful night stay and we will return again when we’re in the area. Definitely recommend to friends and anyone looking for a booking in the area!

Cozy and Convenient

This property suited our needs for a quick trip back to Pennsylvania. The carriage house is very clean, well stocked and welcoming. The host, Sarah, is friendly, helpful and accommodated a special request, which was much appreciated. The location is great for access to King or Prussia, the Main Line and Chester county.

So comfortable

We had a wonderful long weekend here. First, the location was perfect for so many things we wanted to do (Valley Forge, Brandywine Museum, Gettysburg). Second, the carriage house is very cozy, especially the wonderful bed and bedroom. We bought a few items so that we could have breakfast but the kitchen was otherwise equipped to accommodate us. Loved Sarge’s visits, the sheep and chickens. We will be back!

A Special Home at Valley Forge

We spent 4 nights at the Carriage House. It is perfect for two people. Very quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is well organized and functional. We cooked breakfast each morning. Parking was next to the entrance and I did not need to worry about the car Communications with Sarah were easy. Overall a good value and a great location for visits to Valley Forge National Park, Bucks County and downtown Philly
