Tastefully decorated 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom apt in the elegant town of Devon, home of the Devon Horse Show, just on the outskirts of Philly on the Main Line. Sleeps up to 4 (1 queen-sized bed + 2 twin sized beds). Nicely appointed furniture, conveniently located just off Lancaster Ave. Great location with a Starbucks and Wholefoods nearby, and close to the Devon train station. It's a wonderful space for travelers who are looking to visit family, kids in college, or sightseeing.

Wedding weekend in Devon

We had a wedding in Devon with my husbands huge family. It was great to have the vrbo home to hang out in and enjoy visiting. The location is great for walking to restaurants and stores. It is right on the road, so I would beware of traveling with young children!

The house was cozy and clean. Perfect for 4 of us staying the weekend. No issues and Dave was a great host. Made the process super easy.

Gymnastics nationals/family trip

We had a great stay in Devon. We traveled here for my daughter's gymnastics competition and made a little family trip out of it. The house was centrally located to everywhere we needed be as well many local cafes, restaurants and shopping. We visited the Mall of Prussia, caught a Phillies game and explored a small bit of Philadelphia. The house had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the water filter! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great location near Wayne/Devon. Lots of features inside.

This space is nicely located near Wayne & Devon. Easy to find. Inside has everything you need in living room and bedrooms, Some quirky features in kitchen (hot water on left; must open oven to completely access dishwasher due to location of devices). Needs grab-bars in bathroom. TV can be tricky to use to find specific some cable channels.

Our Base for Mother's Day

Spent a long weekend back home in Philly. Great location in Devon, near Wayne-- discovered Minella's Diner. Pricey, but satisfied everyone. The apartment, the main floor of a divided house slept four comfortably. The highlight of this experience was the incredibly responsive manager, Dave. I like getting the door code and other info 24 hrs. in advance-- that made the travel day less stressful. Also, when we discovered a leak in the house, he was on it within an hour (nothing serious). A thoroughly positive visit.

Great all-on-one-floor space and location

Dave's place was perfect for my 80+ year old parents who have mobility issues and can't do a lot of stairs. Parking is right near the front door, then a few steps up and everything is all on one floor from there. Comfortable space, clean, and very quiet (even with other units in the house). Location right off Route 30 made it very convenient to everything on the Main Line and nearby train station offers easy 30-minute access to Center City. Not shiny and new, but a great option at a reasonable price!

nice home, convenient location

Hi, nice home, convenient location with a nice back porch that we were able to enjoy at night. Plenty of stores and restaurants in the area. There wee a couple of small cleanliness items that should be addressed ( I sent the host a message) so I would hope they are replaced / addressed before he next guest arrives. Also, the thermostat being locked wasn’t helpful. At night it was 63 outside and with fans going and widows opened it was still 76 degrees inside. The chair, bathroom vent, shower curtain and shower head need to be replaced asap

We had a great stay here over the holidays while in PA to see family. The space was comfortable and large. Parking was easy and Dave responded quickly to our questions and provided everything we needed to be comfortable. We did not really use the kitchen so can’t speak to the appliances but it was a good size and had what we needed. Although near the train, we hardly heard it - just a rumble here and there and an occasional whistle but it was not loud. We could hear people in the other units but they did not disturb us. If you are super sensitive to noise then it might bother you but it was not a problem for us. Thanks - we would be happy to stay again!

Lovely VRBO property in a great surburban location

We liked both the location and the property! House was easy to locate, with good off-street parking. Easy access to nearby stores and restaurants. House has roomy bedrooms, kitchen, living room. Kitchen was well supplied (coffee/tea/dishwasher soap, napkins) as was the washer/dryer). Would add some plastic wrap and silver foil and better ice containers. Porch was a delight for evenings on a hot day! As seniors, we'd like to have grab bars in the tub/shower. Also suggest transition to LED lights for better lighting everywhere. Enjoyed meeting owner Dave.

What I liked: The interior spaces (plenty of room for 3), 2 bedrooms, comfortable beds, full kitchen, water filter pitcher, washer & dryer, smart, flat screen TV, good water pressure, plenty of seating in living room, reliable WiFi, parking in front, back patio seating area, easy check-in and check-out, homey feel (dated but nicely furnished), responsive host. The home was well-stocked and [mostly] very clean and ready for us. Street noise and metro noise was never a problem. What I disliked: Noise from upstairs residents and downstairs residents (day and night); tired, worn out couch; no air vent in bathroom, mold/mildew showing in some spots around edge of tub; sticky kitchen floor.

Dave was as great host and the property is conveniently located.There are other apt adjacent to this one and you can hear your neighbors- which I didn’t love and would have been an issue if the other guests were more noisy. Sound machines are in the bedrooms - but you can here footsteps, laughing, etc.The decor of the property is dated- wall paint color, comforters, etc and I highly recommend you bring your own pillow for sleeping. Just a little effort (trip to homegoods for updated decor) and more modern wall color would really transform this space . That being said- it is a fair value and delivered on what we needed I also appreciated the coffee pods for the Keurig.
