Overall very clean, basic provisions but lacking attention to details. TV didn’t work and I asked twice for it to be fixed but it wasn’t.

Quick visit

Came into town for the evening to take a relative to dinner. This was a convenient location to West Chester, dog friendly, a park about a mile away to walk the dog, clean, and easy to access. Would stay here again.

Budget minded short stay lodging

From booking online to check-in and checkout process - simple, quick, and precise. Room was accurately described, had all the conveniences needed, and loved the extra features. Highly recommend for other travelers.

Nice little place

The stay was good, location was close to lots of stores and the event we attended. The only minor complaint is the tub needs to have the shower valve repaired. The shower came on but the lower faucet would spray water still. Kitchen sink also sprayed versus flow out of the faucet.

Dismayed

We found a dirty towel on the floor of the bedroom. The tub drain valve would not close; therefore, unable to take a bath. There was no hair dryer to use. When we would turn the temperature up it felt colder instead of warmer. Malvern was nice and the surrounding area was beautiful. The floor plan on the listing did not match the floor plan of the unit we were assigned to stay in. I felt communication with the owner prior to our stay was great.

Photos online aren't a true depection

So the location is in a good spot, especially with Wegmans and Target being across the street.Check in was pretty seamless, was similar to checking into a hotel. The property is in the process of being converted from a hotel to condos. When pulling up to the unit, we were immediately presented with fast food trash littered across the parking spaces. This trash remained there for over 24 hours. When entering the unit, the first thing noticed was the odor. Combination of smoke, and old carpet. The furniture and carpet are really worn. The air vents were dusty and nasty, the bathroom was definitely worn. Behind the bathroom door we found hair from previous guests. The unit just felt uncomfortably dirty. We ran over to Target to get Lysol Wipes, Lysol Spray, and Febreeze deodorizer. The ventilation seemed pretty poor as my family would wake up sniffling with stuffed noses, and coughing. Even though we had the unit for 2 nights, we contemplated only staying for 1.After talking to the front desk and inquiring about getting a newer room, they mentioned that none of the rooms were completed and that the photos online are rendered. I wouldn't consider staying here again unless the renovations were completed.

The shower curtain was moldy. My boyfriend went and told the staff and they apologized profusely and gave him a new one. The carpet was not vacuumed that well. I wish we could have just borrowed a vacuum. The place needs a thorough clean including walls, door and cabinets. Something was smeared on the inside of the bathroom molding and looked like the door hadn't been wiped on that side in a year. The cabinets in the kitchen were sticky with grease. The furniture needs to be pulled out and cleaned behind. All these things are every 4-6 month things to be done. I understand that once you are there they don't clean until you go but I was not impressed with the initial cleaning. I did not complain. I had other things I needed to take care of rather than clear out of the place for a few hours. Any contact with the staff was friendly and helpful. I'm sure they would have cleaned the place again if I would have complained.
