Relax in a roomy, bright, 3-bedroom/2-bath, pet-friendly home on Tenmile Lakes. The home has everything you need to enjoy your stay, including a 6-person hot tub next to the water! Watch the boaters or the wildlife from inside or out. Fish from the shore or bring your own boat and beach along the shore. Located in a private setting, with one rental next door, but minutes away from a grocery store, restaurants, sand dunes, hiking, and beaches. Parking for 2 trailers with a total length of 40’ and 45'. Please contact me with questions before you book.

- 1300 sq ft/single-level home
- Hulu, HBO, Disney (3 TVs)
- High-speed wi-fi
- Wind-protected on the canal of Tenmile Lakes.
- Parking. Trailers > 15' should back in from the main road. Max 2 trailers. Max length (including tow vehicle) 40’ and 45.
- Boat ramp on-site
- Boat docks/beach. The dock is first-come, first-served, and may be in use. Contact the manager.
- Pet friendly (Note: Some years, Tenmile Lakes has algae blooms in late summer - early fall, which is hazardous if dogs drink the lake water)
- Large outdoor space for fishing, walking dogs, watching wildlife, & sunsets.
- Equipped kitchen

- Safe place for kids and pets since it is back from the main road

What a treat!!! Everything about our stay was wonderful. This is probably the nicest "Stocked" house we have ever stayed in. Can't wait to get back and enjoy more lake time.

Best place ever

We love this place! The location is great, right on the channel. We come every year and love enjoying the lake and then going to the beach. The owners and staff are great and respond quickly if needed. We will definitely be back.

Winter fun

We stayed here for close access to the dunes. It was a great property, nice view. Any issues that came up were handled promptly. We enjoyed the hot tub.

Great family getaway

Overall great experience! very easy check-in checkout process, online guidebook was very helpful and clear on expectations. Nice to to be able to launch kayaks into the canal from the ramp so close! Definitely recommend!

Amazing 3 month stay!

I am a travel healthcare worker and we are so thankful we found this home. It was perfect for our 3 month stay and close enough to the hospital for me to be on call! We had a wonderful time here and we were definitely sad to leave. The hosts were amazing! Plenty of extra pillows and blankets too! Would 100% come back and recommend to anyone!

Birthday Vacation

We enjoyed our stay. There were lots of options of things to do. Riding, the lake, fishing, swimming, the hot tub, etc. The house was well stocked for our cooking needs. The owners were very helpful and nice. Would recommend and go back!

Magical spot

We recently spent a week here to unplug. We have teens and 20 something kids and everyone had a great time. Located not far from great beaches, hiking etc. it is a very quiet location and we saw a ton of wild life. Our dog loved it as well. The owners were very responsive and welcoming.

Cozy family stay

My family and I came down from WA state to stay at this Cozy home just 7 minutes away from the Oregon Dunes that we wanted to explore and experience. We felt right at home. Clean home with lots of amenities

This rental was perfect for our family of five. Lots of room for the kids to spread out. We appreciate the lack of carpet - less cause for our allergies. The place was very clean. My daughter especially noticed the lack of spiders. 😅 The kitchen had loads of spices in case you want to cook. There were games to entertain in case of rain. There were even a couple of scooters outside which my kids couldn't resist using. This Rental was 5 minutes from the dunes and buggy rental. Ideal place to call home while visiting the Oregon Dunes.

Perfect place for our small group

We booked this location to celebrate a friends 68th birthday. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and had a large variety of spices for cooking. The only thing we needed and did not find was a cake pan but we were able to get one at the local grocery store. There is a nice view of the canal that joins North and South Tenmile Lake. The home has a launch for kayaks or canoes as well. Our group watched deer play and several families of geese at the waters edge. The hot tub was a big plus for our group. We highly recommend this property. I would also like to recommend the boat rental at Lakeshore Lodge. We rented the green Oregon Duck pontoon boat for 2 hous and the price was very reasonable. Lots to see on the lake.

Worked for us

Location and access to lake and river main reason for booking here. The place was not very clean and pretty run down. Had little to no charm seriously low water pressure tough to wash soap out of hair. Furniture and beds uncomfortable in fact the main bed had a wood shelf sticking out about 6 inches at base that we kept hitting our ankles on and still nursing a very swollen and bruised ankle from walking into this sharp corner on last day. went for exray just bruised, Very poor lighting throughout, missing torn screens let bugs in and pets out. Very hot and muggy without ac. Floor was really dirty throughout left your feet black if going barefoot. Dishes and utensils were very dirty and we washed everything before using. Probably wont stay here again.

Beautiful location. Spacious, clean. Owners super-helpful.

This home is nice and comfortable. This was our second time there. It is spacious, clean, and well-stocked. The views from the living room are beautiful. The area is private - no neighbors within shouting distance. The owners go out of their way to meet any needs you have. Last year when I asked about local fish stores, the owner gave me some leads and added that if I had no luck, he'd give me fresh fish (their house is nearby.) This year the TV had been left with a prior guest's account still active. The owner came by in the evening (straight from the airport!) to clear it, log into her own account, and ensure that we had all the TV services.

Peaceful and relaxing

We had a great time enjoying the hot tub and the view. Watching the boats go by and relaxing. The house was comfortable clean. Well kept up in the managers were quick to get back with the slight issue that I had and it was fixed right away. I will definitely rent there again.

NIce place for a family weekend get-away

Six of us (two parents, two grandparents, and two young children) had a good weekend stay here. The house was clean well-equipped and facilitated our meal prep. There were lots of small extras-- a recent guidebook to the Oregon coast; toys and games that the kids discovered; the hot tub outside. Overall a good experience, and I would be glad to return here. My one concern was with the supplemental rental agreement the owners required before the rental on VRBO. I am not a lawyer, but as I read the agreement there was a clause saying that eveen if the house had major problems such as no water, heat, or electricity, the owners would not give a refund. If I read this correctly, this seems extremely unfair. Yes, unexpected events such as a storm can make a house basically uninhabitable. But it seems to me the basic idea of a home rental is that one gets use of a clean usable facility and returns it in good order. I wonder why there is such a draconian provision in the rental agreement?

Ten Mile Lake getaway

This was our third stay at the house on the cross canal. It suits our needs just fine. We have a place to park our boat out of the water and a short drive to get it back to the lake. The house was clean and well furnished with all amenities. We will stay here again. Steve Anderson

Comfortable Family Retreat

The house has a friendly, comfortable feel. The decor is pleasing and the kitchen and bathrooms are well-stocked. We appreciated the comfortable seating and beds and all of the natural light coming in through the multiple windows. The hot tub is wonderful. We were a bit disappointed in the lack of lake access. The only spot we could find was at county park, which was shabby and designed almost exclusively for boaters.

My husband, Todd, and I decided to move back to Lakeside in 2016 to raise our family, and we purchased the property from my dad. We love Lakeside and the area. We are busy raising a family, working multiple jobs, updating and maintaining the property, and enjoying our beautiful surroundings.
