Welcome to the “Columbine Cottage” Vacation Rental!

OWNER cleaned and operated - so you will be communicating directly with me, Sarah, before, during (if needed) and after your visit. My mom, dad and I are the "cleaning team." This means the home is meticulously clean and maintained and you are cared for like you are our best friends!

We have lived here our whole lives, so we know about secret hiking trails and the best places to eat in town!

The home is a just around the corner from fantastic downtown coffee shops, restaurants, and minutes from walking paths, hiking trails, and gorgeous mountain views! Centrally located to everything Colorado Springs has to offer! Columbine
Colorado is within walking distance to the Olympic Training Center as well as Memorial Hospital. And it is just 5 minutes from two golf courses; a 5 minute drive to Colorado College and downtown Colorado Springs. Pikes Peak, Cog Railway, Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs are a short 12-15 minute drive. Additionally, you will be only 14 minutes to the Air Force Academy, Peterson Air Force Base and Fort Carson. 19 minutes from the Colorado Springs Airport. 20 minutes to The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

This was by far the best Vrbo rental I’ve had since I started using them. The hosts are amazing and the attention to detail and amenities are above and beyond. The bar has been set high after this stay. I would definitely recommend staying here. If we return to the Colorado Springs area we will be staying there again.

Love, love, loved this home! By far the best place we’ve ever stayed and it was stocked in the kitchen and throughout the house so well! We were a group of 5 having a girlfriend’s weekend and everyone raved about the home - we enjoyed every moment for 3 days - wish we could have stayed a week! Would definitely recommend and come back. Sarah, our host, was so friendly and checked in to ensure we were good with everything. Parking in the garage was an awesome bonus.

A Truly Special Place to StayWe’ve stayed in quite a few vacation rentals over the years, and this one genuinely stands out. From the moment we walked in, it was obvious how much thought had gone into making guests feel comfortable. Everything was exceptionally clean, beautifully appointed, and incredibly well equipped. It’s hard to think of a single detail that hadn’t been anticipated. The host was unbelievably gracious and welcoming. The homemade welcome cookies were such a nice touch, and the information and recommendations for enjoying the area were thoughtful, useful, and clearly prepared by someone who really cares about their guests’ experience.What impressed us the most was the feeling that this wasn’t simply a property being rented- it was a place the owners had put real care into creating and genuinely wanted people to enjoy. Bottom line…. an exceptional property, an exceptional host, and an easy recommendation to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay. Bravo!!
