Perfectly situated, Second Wind is walking distance or a short bike ride to the historic Hope Town settlement & ferry docks, and just steps to a pristine white sand beach, LVA grocery store, On Da Beach Bar & Grill and Sea Biscuit Bakery. This home features central A/C, an automatic generator, wood flooring throughout, fully equipped kitchen, smart TVs, Starlink internet, dining for 6 with additional dining space for 6 outdoors, spacious covered front porch and panoramic ocean views. Plenty of day trip opportunities to fish, snorkel, dive and island hop to the neighboring cays! *INQUIRE ABOUT DOCK AVAILABILITY through Sunset Exclusive Dockage and newly opened Sea Spray Marina.

Perfect Vacation

We had a fantastic time at Second Wind! The house was perfect for our group, and the location truly can’t be beat. Centrally situated on the island, it was just a short golf cart ride to town or Tahiti Beach—and within walking distance to On Da Beach. We loved starting our mornings with breakfast and coffee on the porch, and ending the day listening to the sound of the ocean waves. The house was clean, well-stocked, and well-maintained. This was my eighth trip to Elbow Cay, and Second Wind was by far my favorite place to stay.

Great Location and Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. Easy walk to Da Beach Bar and restaurant, a bakery and liquor store and convience store. The area was very safe and clean. We will be back.

5 Stars – Absolute Paradise at Second Wind!We just returned from an unforgettable stay at Second Wind in Hope Town, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The house is even more beautiful in person—bright, breezy, spotless, and perfectly set up for relaxing island life. The views are incredible from every angle, especially from the front porch!The location is ideal—close enough to the settlement, restaurants & marinas and are just golf cart ride away. The beach is just steps away, and is perfect for boating, swimming, and just soaking it all in.The communication with the owner was absolutely impeccable—quick, helpful, and so friendly. Every question was answered promptly, and it really made the whole experience seamless from start to finish.The hosts have thought of everything—fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, reliable Wi-Fi (even in paradise!), and all the little touches that made us feel at home from the minute we walked in. You can tell a lot of love and care has gone into this place.If you’re looking for the perfect blend of laid-back charm, comfort, and true Bahamian beauty, Second Wind is it. Perfect location!

Fun fun fun

We had a wonderful quick weekend stay at Second Wind. We rented a boat that we kept nearby. House was wonderful!! They didn’t forget a thing!! Perfectly located right behind On Da Beach. I can’t recommend this house more highly. The owner Megan was very nice over the top responsive.

Chill at the beach

The location of the house and the size of the house met all our needs. Easy two minute walk to the beach and restaurant and bar. Great isle to navigate around with a golf cart for all the restaurants and other beaches. Highly recommend elbow key and second wind.

Clean home within a short walk to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at Second Wind. House had basic amenities with a clean house and comfortable beds. The front porch was especially nice. We spent a lot of time out there in the afternoon and evening. Clint was responsive and helpful getting my in-laws to the house and checked in. I would love to return one day.

Great location. Beautiful house with everything we needed inside. Owner was in great communication with me and checked in by text. Great island with alot to explore and great restaurants to eat at. If you want to cook at the house, everythinv is there and very close to grocert store too.

Elbow Cay Stay

Great!! The place was very clean, nice, and kept up. It was in a great location, about 1 block from the ocean and a place called On Da Beach Bar & Grill. 2 grocery stores within 2 blocks. All homes around us were nice as well. Great neighborhood. 5 minutes to the Ferry Docks. 5 to 10 minutes from several other great bar restaurants and boat dock area for boat slips. The host and the caretaker were very nice and accommodating and kept in constant contact. We will absolutely be back. Would stay there again!!!!!! Todd

Special gem

We had such a wonderful time. Megan was so nice and attentive. The home is close to town , coffee shop, grocery store and the beach bar. You will still need a golf cart to go places ( esp into town) and we rented a boat for 4 days as well. Such a comfortable and beautiful place to stay and would definately come again. . Took many naps on the big porch !

Clean, airy, great location and ocean views

This is our second time renting Second Wind and we’ll certainly be back again. Very comfortable for our family of five, all adults. The home is clean and airy with views of the ocean from the front deck. It’s a very short walk to the beach, On Da Beach restaurant/bar, grocery store, bakery, and juice bar. The owner is very responsive and the caretaker is quick to attend to any need. Make sure to rent a golf cart to explore the island.

Great time in Abaco

Comfortable, clean, everything we needed. We had a group of six visiting for a wedding and with all that Abaco has to offer just needed a place to get clean and rest our heads. That said, we still found ourselves enjoying the breeze on Second Wind's amazing deck. Susan and Clint (Caretakers/onsite management) were above all the best part of the experience, lovely people, great communication and even picked us up from the ferry. Thank you so much!

Weekend at Second Wind

We came in for a few days for a wedding. This little house was charming and very comfortable . Definitely will come back for a quick weekend . Caretaker Clint was very helpful , picked us up at ferry and took us back to ferry on the way out. He even arranged for a pick up at the airport! Thanks for the great service.
