Fun family trip

We had a wonderful time staying at your farmhouse! We found it easy to navigate to and the house is as charming as ever. We really enjoyed the private pool during the day and walking down to the deep water dock to take in the picturesque scenery in the evenings. Would absolutely stay here again.

We adored our stay at Stevensville. Glen was welcoming and kind. We felt at home using the amazing pool and just enjoying the beautiful property. The house was comfortable and so much fun to see a piece of history so lovingly restored. The area was beautiful as well. We brought our three teens who had a fantastic time as well.

Great family hang out!

We were in town for a family wedding at the Kent Resort so this location was great! We all loved exploring this fascinating house- especially our architect son! The grounds are lovely and we enjoyed using the canoe and also hanging out on the patio with our coffee and listening to the birds Thabks!

Very cute place.

Property was beautiful and the house is such a treasure! Kent Island is very pretty. Also enjoyed a nice fire at the fire pit.

Perfect trip away

Our group of two families had plenty of room in this beautiful old home. The kids loved the pool and the grown ups loved the ability to dock their boats for easy access to the bay during our stay. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay. The property is so full of character and the pool is awesome. We were close to Annapolis for days out and less than an hour to DC. We loved being able to bring our dog Daisy. Thank you to Glen for being a great host.

Came for USNA graduation. Great location and very interesting and historical property. Only downside was the mosquitos and ants but that just comes with the territory. Thanks for having us.

Charming quiet historic getaway

This is a beautifully restored getaway that was right across from a bike trail. They also had a canoe and kayaks available with a dock to launch. Annapolis is only 20 minutes away and the owners were so kind and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here.

Great Retreat During a Hectic Wedding Weekend

Beautiful property and charming historic home that offered us plenty of space to gather, eat, relax and enjoy each other! Thanks to Glen and his family for giving us this opportunity to stay close to my niece’s wedding venue in a great environment! We loved the pool and the massive outdoor space. Enjoyed our stay at this historic home. Took in local park and beach along with a wedding at The Beach Club just minutes away. Easy drive to all Annapolis locations. Not A bad commute to DC. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful with all of our needs.

Our family was in Stevensville for my nephew's wedding. When I saw this property on VRBO, I had to rent it. We had a special time here! Kyaking, canoeing, relaxing and swimming in the pool. This property is extraordinary with a novel vibe. Lots of outdoor space to hang out & explore (picnic tables, swings, firepit etc). The home is so unique and we all loved the different rooms, spaces & history of the home. Kitchen was perfect and the laundry was so nice to have available. We would definately come back - Glen was helpful, kind, and a subperb host! Pro-tip - if you are looking to eat steamed crabs or seafood, head to Fisherman's Crab Deck Kent Narrows about 5 miles away! Enjoy :)

Weekend wedding

Charming Property

We had a great stay at this property. The house is an incredible piece of local history and is situated in a beautiful and very quiet location. The house itself is quirky and charming and the private pool was fantastic. We did notice however that there were quite a few wasps in the house that kept us on our toes, along with other insect critters, and the steep stairs were difficult for our young child and more senior family members to navigate. Nothing significant but something certain populations should be aware of. The owners were responsive and the house is close to many wonderful restaurants. Those interested in history should not pass up the opportunity to stay here!

We appreciate the review and any improvements we can make. We haven't experienced any stinging wasps in the house before, but we find now and then a purple metallic looking wasp and we eliminate them when seen, but they are not aggressive and don't sting people. Easily taken out with a fly swatter. We have gone through the house and sealed any ports of entry and alerted the cleaning crew to eliminate them and bring them to our attention. It is an old farmhouse, but even our modern house nearby gets those guys now and then.

Fell in LOVE with this property and the Farmhouse! So beautiful and unique. It is far enough from town to feel like you aren't in town, but close enough to enjoy the Food Lion Grocery store easily! Everything exceeded our expectations.

We live nearby on the farm but its far enough away for privacy. We like hosting because we meet many interesting people and it helps us maintain a beautiful historic property thats been in our family for decades.

This is the guest house on our family farm of about 60 acres. It is a peaceful setting but located only 2 miles from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on Kent Island in the Chesapeake Bay and 15-20 minutes from Annapolis.
