Modern Lakefront Cottage on Open Water with Stunning Sunsets on Cedar Creek Lake

Stunning 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, fully renovated cottage with open concept living, waterfront with dock and the prettiest open-water views on Cedar Creek Lake. This picturesque getaway is one hour from Dallas.

Updated kitchen with granite countertops, state of the art refrigerator, Keurig maker, full spice rack, pots, pans, baking sheets, muffin tins, towels, paper towels, plates, bowls, silverware, cups and more. Each bedroom and living room (65") is equipped with a flat screen TV, wireless internet throughout home, washer and dryer, walk-in shower in master and tub/shower combo in secondary bathroom. Beds comfortably sleep 6 adults, but has housed more with kids and adventurous adults who aren't afraid to get out an air mattress or sleeping bags.

Dock is equipped for a boat tie off. 2 kayaks, canoe, water floats and toys available upon request.

Portable crib and air mattress available upon request.

Beautiful but communication lacking

Beautiful place, great location. But on checkout instructions said to start a load of towels in the washer and start the dishwasher. That was fine, except I needed help operating them and could not reach the host (no answer). After leaving, i realized we left a bag and couldn't a call back about that either.

Fantastic rental

This is a beautiful property, the perfect place to get away and relax. It was just the right size for our family of 5 (two adults and three teenagers), has a lovely outdoor space, and is in a quiet neighborhood about 15-20 minutes from a marina and grocery stores. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Lovely getaway near the big city

We booked the house for a Memorial Day weekend getaway. Great lakefront setting, very nice house, pictures don't do it justice. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans. Big storms knocked out the power, so our trip was cut short. The hosts were outstanding, very helpful and understanding. Amenities were as advertised, bedding and linens are top shelf, kitchen is well stocked, house was spotless. Highly recommend.

Perfect Lakehouse Getaway

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend escape, a short drive from Dallas, at this beautifully appointed lakehouse! Clean, very comfortable with all the amenities and great view of sunset from the dock. The owners who live next door are wonderful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Labor Day weekend lake getaway

Family of four adults. All enjoyed the house and property. Beautiful location. Swimming and fishing. Sitting on the dock watching the lake and beautiful sunrise and sunset. Would like to return someday. Property is well maintained and beautiful landscape with woodcarvings in front yard. Host was very friendly and responsive.

Perfect Lake Home

We had a wonderful time with our family. Great spaces and kitchen for 6 adults and a baby. The view and lake is spectacular. The home is comfortable and beautifully decorated with everything you need.

Lovely Lake-house W Great Views

Wonderful stay. Lovely, responsive owners. Forever views of the lake when sitting on the top layer of the dock. Gorgeous views from inside the house, too. Comfortable accommodations and beds. Highly recommend for peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Kids Loved It!

We had a great time! The house is beautiful and clean. The kids aged 4, 7, and 13 loved swimming. The baby was happy on the back porch. The adults enjoyed fishing off of the dock.

Perfect lake house getaway!

We brought our two teenage daughters here for a 4 night stay. The house was very nice and clean and beautifully decorated. We were very pleased that it was well stocked with everything you need. The beds were comfortable and the views were amazing! The whole back of the house is windows facing the lake. So nice! We were also very pleased that the pier and dock were well taken care of with very few cobwebs or spiders. (We have stayed at other lake houses we were scared to sit on the dock due to this). We had a wonderful stay and the owners were very quick to respond to our needs. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful lake cottage

This was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Beautiful home with amazing views. The house was so pretty, comfortable and spacious. The owner lives next door and were so friendly and kind. It was my birthday and they even gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate. The beds were comfortable with great linens. They truly thought of everything, plenty of dishes, cookware, spices, beach towels, toiletries, cozy outdoor furniture, fire pit with wood, water toys, kayak and canoe. They had games, books, a smart tv, high end appliances, an awesome double dock and a view of the lake that can’t be beat. We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you Cline family! You’re the best :)

Beautiful on the lake

We were in town for a wedding and this place was perfect for five adults. Clean, great view, comfy beds. We definitely will think of a reason to come back to be able to spend time in the water.

Beautiful view of lake.

This is a wonderful place. It has a wall of windows facing the beautiful lake. The view of the lake was so therapeutic. The property was clean and well maintained. The owner is so sweet and responded quickly when we had a question.

Wonderful lake house

My husband and I celebrated his 78th birthday at this wonderful lake house. Our son came down with our 1 year old grandson and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The property is beautiful & the owners are great! Everything is provided for you and there are so many activities to entertain everyone. I wish we had been able to stay longer to take full advantage of the lake. The location is so quite & peaceful, we had such a good time relaxing and getting away from it all.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

Pictures do not do this beautiful cottage justice! We actually drove past it once because I couldn’t believe that beautiful house was the one I had confirmed! Gorgeous on the outside, even more so on the inside. The gated driveway made me feel secure and, while we were in a neighborhood, it all felt very private, just the way we like it. Lake level is down but the pier gave us easy access to the water which was the perfect temperature especially since it was around 100 outside. We floated all day Saturday and watched the boats go by. So relaxing! Everything we needed was provided and we cooked our own meals with ease. We truly enjoyed our stay, didn’t want to leave. Hope we can come back in the future, I highly recommend this cottage!
