Property was clean and had adequate kitchen utensils and supplies. Neighborhood was quiet and was a very relaxing visit. Owner were good with communication and answering our questions. Recommend others to visit the area and stay at this location.

Great little place

We stayed for two weeks while visiting family in the area. It's a great little place, has been updated nicely, & is fully stocked. Kitchen is tiny but functional, neighborhood is great and is conveniently located near all kinds of good stuff. Deanna was super fast with all communication, all around a great stay.

Fantastic location within easy walking distance to both downtown and the shops up on the main highway. The bedroom had a TV which I don't have at home but really enjoyed watching at the end of the night. The layout of the apartment worked great with entering in the kitchen and having separation between the living room and bedroom. The furnishings were in good shape and the bathroom was both updated and charming all at once. I didn't have the need to entertain but the living room would lend itself nicely to having folks over for a visit. Also, there is a super convenient laundromat right down the street. I look forward to my next visit!!!

Everything we needed for a weekend stay!

This apartment was very comfortable and perfect for our weekend stay visiting relatives. It had everything we would have needed for dining in, if we would have had the time to do that. Bed was comfortable and the apartment was very clean and well furnished. We will stay here again during out future visits.

Great location, went to Marquette and Munising! Because of poor service on the way up I would have liked check in instructions before the afternoon of but worked out ok.

Comfortable and convenient

Great upstairs location with nice amenities....kitchen is handy for meals. She provides hot drinks and oatmeal packets.....very nice for these cold days of staying in. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Will be staying again.

NMU freshman drop off

We brought our daughter up to NMU for move in weekend as a freshman. Place was nice and clean and had plenty of dishes and pans to cook the food we brought. Very cozy and neighborhood was nice. Close enough to run back from Marquette for a few lunches and dinners as we were on a tight budget. Would recommend for a small family or couple wanting a reasonably priced stay to check out the area or visit their NMU student. More than likely will use in the future.

It is a small little apartment perfect for 2 guests. The host is very quick with communication and this property is basicly walking distance to everything in negaunee. That being said its negaunee not the beach or anything fancy so the apartment fits right in. Is it a little outdated? Yes. Its clean and safe though, and came with everything you need including water and coffee.

Apartment was nice and bedroom and bathroom were clean. There was a stove and refrigerator in the apartment but no table to eat at. Hallway uptairs has very old carpet that is dirty and stained and wallpaper is peeling off the wall. The home needs some T.L.C. I must say I was a little disappointed in this property.

Cozy and Clean

The place is very clean, and it has everything you would need. I didn't know it was an upper until the host reached out to me with the details, which was after I had paid for the rental. It did have a musty odor when I first got there, but I didn't notice it as much after I had been there a bit. Everything was convenient, close to Downtown Negaunee. 12 minutes away from Marquette. The Wi-Fi worked great for me, the TV was a little difficult as I had never used Apple products before. But I finally got it, Lol Overall, it was worth the price and I would probably rent the place again if needed. I was there for a family wedding.

A Room that has been smoked in should be listed on your listing!!

If your sensitive to Cigarette smoke this is not the place for you! We got in late had issue w/code on door, owner answered promptly! Unfortunately the room smelled of cigarette smoke, was awful! Very old furniture, bed was tiny not a good night. We left the next day & went to a Hotel because of smoke smell. I called and let the owner know, she admitted someone had smoked in the building which should have been stated on her VRBO listing. We paid for 4 nights we were not offered the other 3 nights back!

We are sincerely sorry that you did not enjoy your experience in our apartment. We feel that we have accurately described and priced the unit. It is reasonable to believe that every house/building that is more than 100 years old has been smoked in at some point. We have owned this property for 2 years and have never allowed smoking in the building. Your wife indicated during our phone conversation that both of you are hypersensitive to cigarette smoke, to include any place that has ever been smoked in. No refund was requested so this complaint surprised us.
