Very clean, host was extremely helpful. Such a peaceful place, nice cottage vibe. Love the live plants. Loved sitting outside listening to birds. Crystal clear lake. All around great place
Host was extremely responsive. House was very clean, amenities were great. Greatly appreciate dog friendly. Had fun catching pan fish off the dock. Loved bonfires by the lake. Garage setup with wood stove, couch and tv would be so much fun in late fall and winter. Enjoyed our stay.
This was our second time staying here and had the best time. Cozy Home has everything you can need, including the hot tub. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. Plenty of space inside, ample parking for our truck and trailer outside. Easy access to riding trails.
It was beautiful and clean. We loved all the house plants and were happy they looked so healthy and well cared for. The fishing was awesome and my husband caught a few good pike and bass. Great memories were made! The Bray Family
Neat place with snowmobile trail access right across the lake, just watch for open water in the far east side. Hot tub worked great. Comfy couches and beds. Owners definitely care about the place.
Great spot with a beautiful lake. Our family stayed here for our symmer vacation. Close enough to town to have plenty to do but secluded enough for days at hone.
Me and my wife had the best time staying at this home in the Upper Peninsula. Everything was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Definitely would stay at this home again
Amazing stay. The host was very helpful and flexible. Hot tub after a long day snowmobiling was incredible. The trail is right outside the neighborhood. Also the wood stove in the garage made it nice to thaw out our gear.
Beautiful property, clean and comfy cabin, slept 3 different parties very comfortably. Our dogs loved it too. Easy check in/out process and communication very good from owner
My wife and I had a fantastic time at this location! The surrounding area was gorgeous and we loved being able to wake up so close to the lake! Every room felt alive in a different way and we could see the care that went into keeping the place well maintained. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!
Great base for a stay in the UP. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The check in was easy, the bed was comfortable, the washer/dryer was great, and the shower was very nice. We did not use the hot tub but it looked very inviting. Enjoyed spending time on the dock (bring bug spray). It was nice to have the lake so close and accessible. The location was perfect for what we wanted. Not too far from Munising (did a Pictured Rocks River Boat Cruise and hiked to see a few waterfalls. Wagner Falls and Miners Falls are both very nice.) Dead River Falls near Marquette is also a terrific hike if you are in relatively good shape and agile. We also (surprisingly) really enjoyed Lakenenland which is a free metal sculpture park outside Marquette. The pieces are very well done with some whimsical, some political and some in memory of various people/groups. Would also recommend Jerzi’s 41 for dinner. It is close to the cabin and the food is very good (loved the ribs…so tender). Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
We were in town for a wedding. The house was perfect! Clean, comfortable and relaxing. Right on the lake, was very relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the view. Had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. If we ever come again will definitely stay here!
Super cute little lakefront property! Conveniently located a short drive from Marquette. We caught fish off the dock and went for a swim in the lake to cool off after a session in the hot tub. All the amenities we needed were there, a true little gem.
Besides the weather not cooperating we had a fabulous time. Responsive host, clean home, comfortable beds. Fabulous for dogs that love to swim, people who like fishing, or just people who want to relax in a Jacuzzi or by the lake without the hustle or the city noise and light pollution. Will visit again for sure!
Property was lovely, house was clean, beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed there, the location was good for just exploring the area and it was so peaceful on the lake. Couldn't be happier with our stay. Host Taylor was prompt to answer questions and her recommendations were spot on. So relaxing!
Hello! Our names are Taylor and Eli. We bought this home 5 years ago as our first home and have felt absolutely blessed to be living here. We have always loved the quiet and ever changing scenery of the lake as well as the nature we were able to witness daily! We decided it was time to move into something a little bigger to be able to start a family of our own but we couldn’t let go of this home we love so much. So we decided to take the chance of VRBOing our beloved lakeside cabin. We know the risk; some people may not appreciate it in the same way that we do, but our hope is that those special folk will love it just the same and it will be a sweet reminder to us that this was the right choice. So with grateful hearts we open our home to you; so that you make some of the same memories we have. Enjoy.
We are just far enough away from town to have the true UP experience but close enough to make it to all of the wonderful things the UP has to offer. 5 minutes off hwy 41 and 20 from Marquette. The house is on a dead end road so walking dogs without the fear of traffic is so nice. The big yard is fun for kids and dogs to play around safely.
