Unit is located within Marenas Beach Resort, a luxury oceanfront resort located in Sunny Isles Beach. With the $35 daily resort fee paid at check-in, guests can enjoy of the private pool, private beach access with towels, umbrellas and chairs, fitness center, complimentary high-speed WIFI, and business center. Hotel also has meeting spaces for any private events and it also contains 1 restaurant and 2 bars. Resort is located within a short distance of many attractions in Miami. Should you have a vehicle, there is a $30 valet parking fee to be paid at property.

**Please note that the construction of a residential building has begun next door and we want to assure you that your comfort and experience remain our utmost priority. Though this construction will not impact any of our amenities and services here at Marenas, you may experience an increase in noise during your stay. This was our third stay at this particular resort, first time with this host. The unit was very clean and met all of our needs! It’s a great location and easy to get in and out of. A few items to note: 1. Construction noise was noticeable starting around 7:30 am. It wasn’t super loud with window and door closed though. We expected this when we rented so it is not factored into my rating. 2. The kitchen was very limited on pans and large utensils. Lots of silverware, plates, cups, bowls though. No large bowls though either. If you are planning to do a lot of meals onsite, this could be an issue.

Nice - right on beach

Was 15 degrees below normal temps when we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy some of what the resort had to offer but did make it to the beach one day. Beautiful beachfront and very convenient location. Be aware housekeeping only comes once every 3 days so if you have a short stay planned keep that in mind. Staff was very nice.

Nice property and Good beach location

This unit is in a hotel-like setting—valet parking, bell boys, check in desk. Good service, but you pay extra for it. This was our first time in the Miami area and were a bit overwhelmed by the traffic. We Ubered to downtown Miami for the nighttime bus tour. We enjoyed the Haulover area. The TV’s need to be replaced with smart TV’s. The unit we stayed in was on the opposite side of the building than the one in the listing photo, but that was ok because it was cooler.

Close to everything

Our arrival got delayed. Arrived 2am and had to wait for another 30 min because receptionist could not check us in due to a computer issue. They provided to us a room that was nothing what pictures were, first floor facing the street. Spent 2 hours on a phone with Vrbo for them to pressure management to give us a room that we actually booked. Eventually they did but it was hassle and extremely stressful. Once this was settled it was a good trip as we have hoped for. I can’t really make a suggestion how this can be avoided. You can get it right but it may cost your time and much of frustration. North side of the building should be avoided as the next door they are building a new resort. We stayed on a south side and it didn’t bother us at all. Close proximity to a lot of shopping and restaurants.

Experience at the Marenas VRBO

The property was very nice... I do believe I was a bit miss led by the pictures on the website with the pool.. also the “ manager” of our unit misled me about the “ locker room/shower “ after checking out on our last day.. my understanding was we could check out of the hotel.. store our luggage and have our last day on the beach... then I was told there were “ locker rooms” where we could take showers and change and then go on our way to the airport... there were no such lockers.. there was a bathroom... no shower... otherwise the service was pleasant enough... prices were very high... 2 drinks at the pool bar upon arrival were $38.00 + tip.... a bit expensive..., the guests were very low key which was what we wanted due to it was still spring break... overall our hotel experience was great !! Unfortunately our weather was bad a few days but that can’t be controlled...

Marenas stay during Christmas holidays

Positives: The place is clean and room service is done every day. Any special requests are fulfilled very quickly (like extra tp or paper towels, blankets, soap, etc.). The bedroom and the bathroom are nice (the furniture and overall condition). Negatives: The kitchen could benefit from more cooking utensils (there was only one small pan and one pot, 4 forks, etc). We had to buy our own, so there are now two pans :-). The two chairs in the living room are in pretty bad shape, the surfaces are peeling off and flakes are sticking to your clothes after you sit on them. We had to cover these with towels to be able to use them. The owner should replace these as they spoil otherwise positive impression of the room. The heating is not working in the room (there were a couple of cold days when we wanted to turn the heat on). The AC is working well. The swimming pool at the resort is very small and is suitable mostly for kids only. Be prepared to pay extra $60 per day for parking and resort fee (these fees will be added to your bill at check out).

Good location

Overall nice apartment and location for the lower price you oay compared to other centrally located buildings in sunny isles. Beach is not busy compared to others. Apartment is clean and owner had a constant communication.

Oversold and Canceled 4 hours before check in

Property canceled our reservation four hours before check in as our flight was about to take off starting the unit was oversold. Oversold? Its so irresponsible and unprofessional. I had two young kids with me and no place to stay, was left scrambling to find a place . Will never consider this property again.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly. Accommodations were clean. Location and views were great! Living area furniture wasn’t very comfortable but bed was! Beach chair set up was way too crowded but otherwise a fun stay!

Nice 1 bedroom condo

The 1 bedroom apartment style room was nice for a quick 3 night getaway. It is a smaller than in the photo, but was clean and updated. Ours did not have the view of the picture, but this is a condo resort so they probably place you in whatever room is available. The resort staff wasn't the most attentive; and they don't tell you housekeeping is anywhere between 8-5 during the day. The beaches are lovely. Plenty of restaurants and food options to walk to. Make sure to calculate the nightly in resort fees into the true cost of this condo.

Great place to visit

Condo was perfect for us. Hotel staff was great and always helpful. Food was really good from the on-site restaurant. Able to order delivery from the Publix down the street and restaurants you can walk to. Beach and views were so pretty. There was more seaweed than expected at the beach but seemed to be everywhere. Pool was great for a break from the beach, too. Host was very responsive. Thank you!
