It is in one of the most desirable areas in all of Princeville. You are minutes away from shopping, golf, and gorgeous world-famous North Shore beaches. A secluded semi private snorkel beach is only a ten-minute walk from our home and is a great spot for whale watching too! .....

The second story is an open living, dining, kitchen, and nook space that includes a guest bath and two ocean breeze lanais. From there, enjoy the sun setting into the Pacific Ocean alongside our vista of famed Bali Hai Mountain at the northern edge of the Na Pali Coast. And just after every rain, enjoy the sight of waterfalls cascading down the Hanalei Mountain Range, no doubt framed by one, two, or even three rainbows! At the same time, you might be dining or enjoying a Mai Tai while swaying in the hammock, listening to the beautiful songs of our native Hawaiian birds and the heavenly sound of the ocean waves. In the evenings, a cloudless sky will offer stargazing more crystal clear than just about anywhere stateside......

The fully stocked cook's kitchen, a foodie’s delight, has a complete pantry with spices, olive oil, and every utensil you might need to make a delicious feast. Try grilling pineapple with local catch on the dining lanai’s outdoor barbecue. Organic vegetables and fruits, along with local artisan breads, cheeses, and prepared foods can be had at the many farmer’s markets nearby......

There are ceiling fans in all the rooms and trade wind island breezes flow throughout. SWANKY TIKI boasts vaulted wood and white beam high ceilings and Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, with charming Hawaiian style furnishings and Native objects and artwork collected over some 20 years. Personal touches include high end linens and home accessories, custom goat milk soaps, live indoor plants and flowers, baskets of shells and much more. Upstairs, the many windows and glass doors with the light filled, spacious, and airy floor plan make for a festive and comfortable gathering space for Ohana and friends or a romantic getaway for two. Downstairs, there are three extra-roomy private master size bedrooms, all with ensuite full baths. Relax in a multi-purpose open area off the front entrance that can be used as a lounge area, office, or a mediation space......

Our neighbors tell us that SWANKY TIKI has some of the prettiest landscaping in the area. You can pick a flower arrangement from the lush tropical gardens that surround the house. There are unique lipstick palms, a large shady lychee tree, lily koi ponds, along with flowering gardenias and orchids blooming in the Ti leaf trees.....

There is High speed internet while TV apps are available on the Roku large screen TV. With a confirmed booking, a multi-page PDF will be sent which includes directions to our favorite beaches and insider information from locals about the best markets, shopping, and restaurants......

There are two bicycles along with all the beach gear you might need; beach towels, surfboards, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, sunscreen, and umbrellas. The house is centrally located for hiking, biking, and championship golf. The world-renowned, Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed Princeville Makai Golf Course is a short walk from the house......

The constant comments from guests are that they loved staying at SWANKY TIKI – it is not the typical vacation rental and they can't wait to return to both our place and the magical paradise of Kauai.
