Quiet Cape Waterfront Home

This 2 story waterfront home is located at the tip of a cape, which offers spectacular views and a good dose of privacy.

******* The dock offers a deep water loading ramp, and should not be affected by the Duke Energy drawdown. *******

The home has 3 bedrooms, 1 loft and 2.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom, with a full bath, is located downstairs. The upstairs offers a loft with a full size bed and a full bathroom. The additional bedroom, which sleeps 6, has a sliding door that opens to a deck. The home is stocked with linens and towels, as well as a washer/dryer in the laundry room.

The downstairs features an open concept with living room, dining room & kitchen all just a few steps from one another. The kitchen is fully stocked - you just need to bring food! From the downstairs living area, you are led directly to a covered porch.

From lower deck, there is plenty of space to sit & relax on the lawn. You have direct access to a boat launch with deep water loading ramp, private dock and fire pit.

Pets are welcome at this lake house! Just off the deck, a portion of the lawn is fenced - so your animals may enjoy the outdoors with you. Pet fee is per pet. Please contact me if you have more than 1 pet on the reservation.

The dock offers a deep water loading ramp, and should not be affected by the Duke Energy drawdown.

A private pontoon boat is also available for rent during your stay!

If you are looking to book a getaway with another friend or family member, we also own 2 properties directly next door. It would be a perfect way to vacation while socially distanced!

This home has long-term, off-season rental availability.

Lovely disappointment

The online photos of this place are deceiving. The location is its saving grace. Love being on the point. However, the house is very rundown and well used. It needs a lot of cleaning and repair. HVAC appeared new and worked well.

Weekend Stay from Lugoff

We had a friend coming in from Dallas and wanted a quiet place to stay. We found it. Trevor was a wonderful host. The house was so cute and we enjoyed the unexpected Jukebox!

Lake Life

We enjoyed our stay. We brought two dogs with us and the fenced area and screened porch was just perfect for them. The property sits on an amazing lot with direct access to the lake. We had daily entertainment with the boaters that stopped at the sand bar across the property and were having a good time. Our group was large with 7 adults and 4 children and everyone had a place to sleep and was not on top of each other. Minus the lake power outage and losing AC our last night, we had a great weekend.

Beautiful location

The home is located on one of the most beautiful stretches of lake front on Wateree, bird island is absolutely picturesque. There is plenty of kitchen space and the property is big as well. It was a very nice stay and the owner was very responsive when we had questions.

NOT CLEAN

Not clean and cockroaches!!! Not the p-lace to stay if you have allergies. Called the property manager and it was cleaned better when we arrived there the next night. We will not stay there again.

Great visit! Host VERY responsive!

Our family stayed for Christmas and Trevor and his team were incredibly responsive and helpful! Beautiful sunrise views, fenced yard, and lots of beds! Spent time at the state park nearby, which was an added bonus!

Rethink your trip

Our stay here turned out to be a big disappointment. We chose this location because it was centrally located to make it convenient for our children and their spouses to all drive about the same distance and because it offered a pontoon boat. The boat never happened and it was just a run around all week. While the lake was low, we watched others enjoying their boats during our entire stay. The property owner said the boat was stuck in the sand on the bottom and that he had a neighbor that was going to take care of it. There was a boat there that was floating freely. Had we known in advance that the boat was not going to be made available, we would have Brought our boat with us. As for the house, it was dirty. Old fast food bags left under an upstairs bed. American cockroaches throughout the house. It had a giant bathtub, but there was no water hooked up to the tub. There was also a gas fireplace, but no gas was hooked up. The outside was junked up with stuff scattered everywhere. While the lodging was subpar, we made the most out of it since that was the first time we'd all been together in years. I would normally never leave a bad review, but it was really disappointing. If you have a couple of friends that just want to go fishing for a few days, it's an ok spot. (Bring your own boat), but this is NOT where you want to take your family.

So Much Fun!

This is a great property and a great location. The property had never been rented and the owner, Trevor, had 24 hours notice to get it ready. he did a great job and was very attentive. He is aware of a few things that need to be done but was VERY accommodating to our needs. Lake Wateree is amazing and we had so much fun.

Family, friends, get away

Property was definitely in a prime location, and the extra amount of docking areas for boats and jet ski’s was a plus, would recommend some clean up around the property, main dock repair, the access amount of things on the rear screened in pourch made it hard to utilize the whole thing. And the over growness of bushes and landscaping could definitely help, with outside cleanless for guest with children. I definitely will be coming back, was a great location and a great host. Very responsive and very cooperative! Thank you

Love the lake!

We stayed at this property last summer, so we wanted to do it again this summer. My family and I are glad we did, and everyone had a blast! We plan to do the it again next year too. Trevor and Ambie are very responsive if they are needed. Everything was great!

Great Trip

We really enjoyed this house. The screened porch is pointed east for beautiful sunrises. The fishing was good. Caught and released some nice catfish. Trevor the owner of the property is very responsive to questions and cares about his guests. In 2018 we rented another property that he owns and had the same good treatment. The house has all you need for a great vacation. There is also a huge sandbar about 150 yards from the dock that is great for wading and swimming that you can tie your boat up at or just swim out to. Do not hesitate to rent this house.

Family wedding weekend at the lake

The location on the lake is wonderful. Our family of six adults were well-accommodated. The fenced yard was a great benefit for our dog. The adult grandchildren enjoyed the raft on the water that Trevor provided. Trevor is an excellent host/owner. He went out of his way to meet all our needs that arose. Would not hesitant to stay at one of his homes in the future.

Perfect pointe on lake wateree aka bird island

The view was amazing! The house was way more then what was needed for 9 people, meaning you could comfortably bring more friends or family. We brought our jet ski and were allowed use of the onsite jet ski dock. Trevor and his assistant were very helpful with everything. Would visit again for sure. Maybe just the wife and I

Excellent stay

This is a super owner and super property. Plenty of room and owner was very accommodating. Once the owner completes a little maintenance on dock, this will be one of the finest properties on the lake! Will definitely stay here again!

Vacation at Lake Wateree

This property has the most beautiful view of the lake. A large screened in porch is a great place to see the view. The house has plenty of room for a lot of people. Each room is well kept and has some interesting items to see. Most time is out side in the very large yard that is lake side. Wonderful trees to sit under and a cool breeze comes across the lake. Perfect place to bring your boat to. This is a great place to get away to.

Lake Wateree stay

Had a great experience with this property enjoyed the location on the lake. Mid lake area so easy to get to any creek. Ramp on property as well. Had a great time.
