Although we didn't spend entire days, due to the fact the cottage is perfectly suited to visit many area attractions. We most certainly enjoyed our evenings and nights in a beautiful and serene location. The description and pictures are very much as we saw the location. It is a a bit off the beaten path, but the gravel road wasn't a bad drive at all. Quiet, quiet, quiet for sleeping and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed a nice fire on the shoreline while looking at the stars. I very much encourage anyone looking for some peace to stay in this scenic location. Thanks to our host Richard for the opportunity to just relax.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage! Everything we needed was provided, and it's clear the owners take great pride in ensuring their guests are comfortable. The view was absolutely breathtaking, especially watching the morning sunrise and the screened in porch was an added bonus. Beautiful location, modern home and well maintained. Host was very friendly and helpful. He made some great restaurant recommendations. We had a wonderful time.

Ideal if you are looking for a beautiful, quiet place with exceptional sunrises. The private beach is a bonus. Access to the Cabot Trail was a short drive away. We were able to enjoy the Celtic Colours every day of our stay as the weather was cooperating.

Private, clean, and comfortable beds. Everything you need to be comfortable and more. Beach is beautiful and the extra porch area was lovely.

Great place to stay to experience Cape Breton!

The 2 bedroom, 3 bed house was great. It was clean, well stocked and located right off the beach. It is quiet with a great view. Highly recommend staying here if you don't mind the drive to get places. Cape Breton in the fall is absolutely beautiful! A must see!

It’s quiet and private at this well designed two bedroom/two bath house on an inlet. Well equipped kitchen and lovely screened porch. One can hear the waves lapping the rocky shore.

Nice central location in Cape Breton

The house and property were perfect for us , we had a father son trip to reconnect with a lot of family and see the island , great central location to everything we planned , house was clean and had everything we needed , would recommend it to anyone ,panicked first night I got there as I forgot to pick up coffee for the morning, Richard was nice enough to run some over and save the day !

The place was amazing. Clean and comfortable and well equipped. We were sad to leave. So close to the water as well. It was lovely to hear the waves. Our dog loved it as well

Magical Beach House in Cape Dauphin

The property was lovely and as advertised. The deck and screened in porch were favorite places to relax. Richard the owner was very responsive when we had questions. The location was very private, yet close enough to any needed amenities. There is a trail to the Fairy Hole very near the property. We would happily return!

Ocean side home

very comfortable ocean side home enjoyed walking the shore and listening to the waves only downside was house water had sulfur smell
