This place is great. Second time we stayed. It’s on a hill overlooking the port. Eagles fly by all day. We saw a whale feeding next to the dock. Went fishing on the floating piers. Views are great. It is in the middle of town but up and away from traffic. Easy access to stores and tourist areas. Very clean and has washer/dryer to use. City is great area. Can see bears, beaver, mountain goats, eagles, Salmon run, seals, and deer all within 15 min drive. WiFi worked perfectly. This place has a covered parking area also.

A gem with a stunning view

The home is bright and cheerful, very well appointed, there was nothing we could’ve asked for in addition to what was provided. Mindy was extremely responsive whenever we had a question and I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Ketchikan.

Graduation

We came for my grandson's graduation. I was able to see the graduates walk the along the pier in from of their pictures. The accommodations were absolutely perfect. Everything was supplied and cupboards were marked so you did not have to go searching. Every morning, we woke to a new cruise ship to view.

Beautiful location

A nice home in a great location for our stay. We were nearly next door to our grandkids. The views are spectacular and we were within walking distance to pretty much everything.

Perfect for a few days exploring Ketchikan

Great view from the deck of this property. Up on the hillside away from town only a block, but in a quiet area. Property had everything we needed and plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed seeing the cruise ships arrive and when they left we had a great view of the water and mountains. Communication with host was easy and quick. Would recommend. cruise ships come

Great place to stay

Wonderful place to stay in town. Very clean. Great location. Easy check in and out. Wonderful view of harbor and great views in the evening. Owner very helpful. It has AC just in case it’s needed. Quiet street and had a parking space. Washer, dryer, dishwasher all new. I’ll definitely stay at this one again.

Great stay in Ketchikan

Absolutely beautiful views. Fantastic location and great communication. We were surprised that the second bathroom is just a toilet in the laundry room. The big bullets say 2 bathrooms. The fine print points out that it’s just 1.25 bathrooms. All that to say that I doubt it would change our reservation because it truly s a wonderful place.

View is great from the inside and the outside deck. Lots to see from the elevated view of the town and harbor. One could spend hours just watching all the activity below.

Fantastic stay!

Perfect 2-day stay at Mindy’s! Truly spectacular view, especially when the cruise ships are out of the harbor (none stay overnight). Great location. Apt is fully equipped, heating is whisper quiet. Huge picture windows, airy and super clean. Comfy bed. Great location. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Walkable Waterview

Great view! Area is very walkable; especially if you know how to navigate the stair streets. Close proximity to downtown, dining, and shopping. Watched the harbor seals feast from the deck in the mornings. Unit has everything that is needed and my mom really enjoyed the DoTerra bath and kitchen products. Owners are great to work with and even checked ahead of arrival to make sure we had seen the weather report for our trip. Pack slippers as you can hear the downstairs neighbors and they can hear you. Great stay and would definitely book again.

Relaxing in Viewtopia

Viewtopia is a wow place! It’s not perfect, it’s WOW! You walk in and say wow out loud. Second wow stay for me this time with the guys from the neighborhood. We relaxed for 4 days at the unit, fishing with our local connection (remember no fish processing at Viewtopia), and touring Ketchikan. The view is always changing and always beautiful. Will be coming back again!

Best View in Ketchikan

Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed our time in Ketchikan and the stay was great. The views are amazing, and we had everything we needed at the house, just had to buy grocery's. I highly recommend!

Great location for taking in Ketchikan

Everything was as advertised. Awesome, awesome awesome! Considerations to keep in mind - a good amount of stairs to reach downtown and if you are above average in adult size the single beds may a bit uncomfortable. I’ve tried other accommodations in town - hands down this is the best !

Incredible stay in Ketchikan!

Wonderful property with the best views of Ketchikan you can get. Perfect location other than some stairs if you don't have a car. We'll stay here anytime we come back.
