Ketchikan Home -- 5 min walk to downtown! -- Amazing views!

Located just steps away from the water, our spacious and inviting home offers stunning views of the water and surrounding landscape. To access the house, a short climb of 34 steps, but worth the effort to see the panoramic views from the deck of the house.

The open floor plan of the living area allows for easy flow of socializing, with plenty of natural light streaming in from the large windows. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing your crab boil and the dining area offers a comfortable space to enjoy them!

Our VRBO features three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own unique charm and character. The two bathrooms provide plenty of space for guests to freshen up and get ready for a day exploring the area.

Ketchikan offers endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation, from hiking and fishing to whale watching and kayaking. 5 minute walk to downtown shops and restaurants! Located just above berth 4, watch the cruise ships pull in and out from the living room. After a day exploring, come back to our cozy home and relax with a cup of hot chocolate on the deck, watching the sunset over the water.

We look forward to welcoming you to our charming Ketchikan home, and helping you create memories that will last a lifetime!

I don’t even know where to start! The house was great! Killer views with the big windows in front and more than enough room for the six of us with real comfy beds and a nice big kitchen to cook up those amazingly delicious spawning pink salmon!

This home is absolutely a must to stay at if you visit Ketchikan. Very clean, well decorated, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds but the most amazing part for me was the view of the bay. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets and within walking distance to everything. The owner was super responsive to questions we had and I would definitely stay here again.

Great property

This is a beautiful property, walking distance from downtown. It has amazing views of the channel, it is bright and luminous. The property was very clean, well maintained and extremely well equipped for a week of all kinds of activities in Ketchikan. We would definitely come back.

Great location, beautiful view, nice amenities

This rental was ideal for our trip. It's the perfect place to have a cup of coffee and take in the view. The host was extremely helpful, welcoming, and responsive, and the check out instructions were the most relaxed I have seen, which we appreciated. The stairs were less intense than I expected, having been to Ketchikan before. It was extremely walkable; we didn't rent a car at all. There is a free shuttle that we used to get to and from Safeway for supplies. The house was more well-equipped than I expected, with amenities like a pressure cooker, garbage disposal, washer & dryer with utility sink, and a well-stocked coffee bar. We had unusually warm weather, and the upstairs area definitely got hot, but after you open the windows and turn on the fan it cools down surprisingly quickly, so it wasn't a problem at all. Some renters may want to note that the stairs to the house connect the upper street to the street below and are occasionally used by other people in the area, so don't be too surprised if you see folks passing by the doorway. Ketchikan has a vast system of stairs that keep things walkable, and sharing your stairways with neighbors seems to be the norm.

Close to Historical Downtown and Harbor

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Ketchikan! This property made our stay complete with its accessibly to town and a view of the harbor. We enjoyed looking for whales, watching the soaring eagles, and seeing the fishing boats, airplanes, and cruise ships come and go! The home had everything we needed to fix meals. Thanks for the spices and coffee! Heather, the property owner, was so accessible during our time before and during our stay. We enjoyed walking the streets of Ketchikan as well as taking the hikes around town. The screen in the house provided us additional information about excursions, restaurants, and check-out procedures. We were thankful for the washer and dryer as it allowed us to bring fewer outfits. Pack and play was a blessing to our grandbaby and parents! Great place to stay!

We were in Ketchikan to support family and the hosts were very nice in helping us adjust our schedule as our loved one’s situation evolved. The home is clean, updated and very comfortable. The view is remarkable. The hosts have made everything needed for a stay available. We hope to visit again soon.

Excellent Family Friendly Property

We spent Thanksgiving week in this cozy, comfy home away from home. Everything was super clean with a well stocked kitchen that allowed us to cook a full Thanksgiving meal for our family. Heather was quick to respond to messages and very helpful and accommodating. The location was central and It was very easy to get to all the local attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. The location is a short walk to the boardwalk and the rest of town. And, we LOVED the view. Beautiful when there are no ships in port, and fun to watch when the ships come and go. Great place to stay!

We loved our stay!!

The house was amazing. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for an extended stay. We were able to cook in the oven and wash our clothes in the washer and dryer which was great since one of our kids severely under packed. It was an easy 3 minute walk to downtown Ketchikan by the cruise ships. The view in the house was picturesque and my kids loved watching the cruise ships come in and out of the harbor. The host Heather was amazing. She was easy to get a hold of and offered advice of where to eat and things to do downtown. We are already planning our next trip and would not think of staying anywhere else. If you are coming to Ketchikan I would sincerely consider staying in this home.
