You will stay at just 100 MTS FROM THE CATHEDRAL inside the HISTORICAL BUILDING where the Declaration of Independence of Mexico was printed. You will enjoy your luxury suite with private balconies, kitchen and dining room. YOU WILL EXPLORE THE HISTORIC CENTER BY FOOT and we will take care of connecting you with the best tour guides, drivers and masseurs.
Staff 24/7 inside the building to welcome you anytime, you will be safe with us!

THE SUITES
From the elegant doorway hall you take the stairs one floor up into the suites level. This booking is for two suites which are not connected. One suite is located in front of the other. One is external suite with balconies and the other one is internal suite with views to the patio. In the common areas you will find a roofed patio with armchairs and tables to relax, as well as an intercom to communicate with the staff inside the building 24/7

Suite 1: has one bedroom with two single beds or 1 king size bed (to choose) and a single futon, a living room with a dining room, TV and a single sofa bed. A fully furnished kitchenette (also a Dolcegusto coffee maker with courtesy capsules) and a full bathroom. External suite with balconies.

Suite 2: has one bedroom with two single beds, a second bedroom with one singke bed, a living room with a dining room, TV and a single sofa bed. A fully furnished kitchenette (also a Dolcegusto coffee maker with courtesy capsules) and a full bathroom. Internal suite

LOCATION
You will be 150 meters (490 feet) from the Cathedral and the ZĂłcalo!
You can visit the entire historic center on foot and enjoy the seasoning and folklore in the front row.
You can explore the entire historic center on foot and enjoy the museums, restaurants, cafes, archaeological sites, rooftops, handicraft shops, churches, markets, etc. all within 5 minutes walking.
Tacuba Street was one of the first 3 streets of the Aztec empire. It is a one-way street that will take you directly to the Cathedral.
The building has a video surveillance service and a triple door access that allow guests to feel 100% safe like at home.

If you are going to stay longer than 7 days, the bed and bath linens will be changed once a week.

Our family of five occupied two suites. The room and amenities were great.

We loved the location and the views from the rooftop. We would recommend, and definitely would stay at Casa Sauto again. Thank you to Fernanda and her staff.

Super friendly hosts, spacious area. Perfect for a family. A lot of restaurants nearby. Walking distace from a few tourist attractions. The cafe across thr street was an excellent place for breakfast! You will not be sorry you chose to stay in this property.

Great Location

The location is great. Close to all of the wonderful things to see in the historic core. I would recommend that the property strongly look into better cooling options. Unfortunately, with global warming, housing that did not need AC a few years ago need it now. Because we have been to this city several times, we thought a space without AC would be fine. However, it was not. The interior rooms were very warm. We had four fans in that room but it was still warm. The rooms with exterior facing windows were cool with the windows open. Space itself is wonderful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic.

If you want to stay in the center of a great city this is the place to stay! It is so beautifully restored and in the perfect spot for all your sight seeing adventures!

Excellent Stay in a Historical Gem!

My family had a great experience at Casa Sauto. The suites were spacious and very clean. Casa Sauto is located in the historic Center of Mexico City with lots to see and do so the location was great for getting out and exploring. Great museums, cafes, bars, etc. were close by. Perfect for a family stay; I would definitely recommend! -Kevin

Beautiful Location and beautiful facilities

The place is amazing! A jewel in the historic district. It is exactly as described. We were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids. We booked two rooms that were across from each other. We slept comfortable. Location is perfect. There is a breakfast sport across the street (los Bisquets ObregĂłn) that open as early as 7:30, so we did not even used the kitchen. We went to visit during summer time. The unit that does not have windows to the street got very hot. They provide fans but it was still uncomfortable. That was not the same for the unit with windows to the street but my kids got attack by mosquitos because we left the windows open. The staff gets five starts and some!They were supper helpful and friendly. They give us a tour of the property and told us about the history of it. They helped us to get all our 6 suitcases to the Second floor since the original elevator is not operational. I will come back to Casa Sausto for our next visit to Mexico City!

Amazing place in a central location!

This is an amazing historic property. It’s just steps away from the Zocalo of the Temple Major. The staff was extremely attentive and welcoming. Fernando even gave us a tour of the building and should us some historic articles that are meant for for a future museum! My family and I would stay here again anytime. Staying here was an all around wonderful experience.

Amazing place and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This place is amazing. Convenient to the Zocolo, convenient to the subway, and overall a really unique amazing place. The hosts were also extremely attentive.

In less than 5 minutes walk youÂŽll find the Cathedral, ZĂłcalo, the National Palace, Templo Mayor, the National Museum of Art, the Museum of Economy. As well as restaurants, shops, ATMs, city tour bus, taquerias, pharmacies, museums, markets, etc. A 10-15 minute walk away you have Bellas Artes Palace, the Postal Palace, Casa de los Azulejos, La Alameda Park, the Franz Mayer Museum. If you want to do a Tour you just have to cross the street and you will see the Tourist corner, you can get on the TURIBUS which is the hop-on hop-off bus that will take you throughout the city.
