Apologies for the delayed review, but it would be irresponsible to ignore the opportunity to rave about Family Beach House. My wife and I and two friends had a excellent stay. The house was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view and an easy stroll to a beach. The groundskeeper was friendly and accommodating. We were located a comfortable distance to the town center which allowed easy accessibility yet far enough to afford quiet. The pool was refreshing if in need of some maintenance. I have absolutely no reservations about highly recommending Family Beach House and hope to stay there again in the future!

Very welcoming host, and the house was very well-appointed, especially for family travel. Great communication, quick walk to Magic Sands Beach, and easy access to other restaurants and shops as well as to the highway to access other parts of the island. Highly recommend!

Great location and nice house. The place was well stocked and there's a caretaker on site for any needs. We went with six family members and it fit our needs perfectly. The pool is a bit funky but is being redone so that's exciting. Be aware, there are a lot of stairs, so not handicap accessible but otherwise a wonderful place and we had a fabulous time.

Perfect location at a good price.

We love this place. It is our second stay here and this time 8 of us enjoyed the pool, view, comfy beds, great showers, birds, geckos and exceptional hospitality.

We loved our stay at Kona Lighthouse! Our party of 8, ages 8 to 50ish, fit perfectly with room to spare. The sunsets were breath taking every night, with a view of the surfers and bodyboarders at Magic sands beach. The location was perfect, a quick ride to downtown Kona. The house had everything we needed, snorkel gear, beach towels and chairs, even water shoes for the whole family. The pool was beautiful and refreshing after a long day of sight seeing. We were happy to have a/c units in all the bedrooms to make it easy to sleep at night. The kitchen had ample amenites so we could cook at the house for a few meals. Thank you to our hosts who were quick to answer any questions we had. We love the Big Island!

If you are a large family like ours or even a couple of friends, this is the place to stay! Easy access to the beach and the Main Street restaurants. Great kitchen to cook in and pool to play in!

Our family loved this location near Magic Sands Beach. Spacious and comfortable, this home is well stocked with most basics you’ll need. The on site manager Terry was helpful and friendly.

Fantastic Family House!

We stayed for Spring Break with our 2 children, another couple, and their daughter. The location was great for nearby beaches! Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. 5 stars all around!!

This VRBO was perfect for our 3 family, first time in Hawaii vacation. In a quiet residential neighborhood, close to a beautiful beach, our large and open ‘home’ had all the amenities we could possibly need and more. Lynda and Jeff along with Terry were great hosts answering questions within minutes. Eating on the balcony and watching the sunsets were our favorite time of the day. Highly recommend a stay here.

Great central location!

Perfect size and location. We loved that it is so close to all the activities we wanted to do. The view is amazing! The lanai was a wonderful spot to watch the sunset each night. We really enjoyed our stay here. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Pool was refreshing to cool off in. We would definitely stay gere again!

Great place for a family!

The house worked out wonderfully for a family of 4 adults and 4 kids. The house was much nicer in person than in the pictures and it was very comfortable to call home for a week or so. The view is amazing. The pool was great for the kids when we were not at the beach. We would definitely recommend this home for your vacation.

Winter getaway

Perfect place to escape the Midwest winters. Left South Dakota with a foot of snow and cold weather to arrive at this slice of paradise. Arrived to a nice welcome beautiful view and good friends. House is beautiful view is amazing close to many sights, shopping and food.

Super Family Vacation Spot

This rental was beyond our expectations. I have rented many times through VRBO and this place was the best equipped of any I have rented. The location was perfect. Lots of room for all us. Whales were outstanding

My wife and stayed here with our two kids and their spouses. Had a great time. Home is centrally located to any tours scheduled and close to some awesome restaurants and shopping. The owner was extremely accommodating to our late night flight. Whales and dolphins were visible off shore from the upper Lanai.

Reunion by the Beach

Very comfortable home in a beautiful, safe neighborhood for our multigenerational group. Took a hot mug of Kona coffee down to the beach each morning and watched the body surfers catch the waves. Cleaning up at the end of a beach day was easy with the very private, hot shower outside. There was so much to enjoy on the island and the location was perfect for reaching all sites easily. We heartily recommend this property!

This property is perfect in every way. Incredible location with all the amenities. Check in was smooth and seamless. The house was well stocked with everything you need for a extended or short stay. We used the downstairs unit as a pool cabana which worked out perfect for our family of 4. A/C in all the bedrooms made sleeping very comfortable. We highly recommend this unit and hopefully will return next year. Thank you Lynda and Craig for the wonderful vacation.Mahalo
